It falls to John to witness one of the greatest minds he has ever known tear itself apart, and he must do his best to help Sherlock pick up the pieces.

Oh man, does BeautifulFiction know how to write whump!Sherlock. This is one of the first fics I ever read in the Sherlock fandom, and it is still one of my favorites. A definite must-read.

Of Dressing Gowns and Other Foibles

This is just to say that the final chapter of Of Dressing Gowns and Other Foibles is finished, and just needs to be polished up with edits. Then it should be posted quite soon.

I’m sorry it took me AGES to finish this fic. I’m still nervous about posting the last chapter because I’ve had such a positive response to the story that I’m afraid to have an ending that fails somehow to live up to expectations. But hopefully you’ll all enjoy it. It has earned its explicit rating in this last chapter.

I’ll post another announcement when it’s up.
