I hate everything

Ooh, uncensored mainstream radio station. I like you, Norway.

First observations on the Norwegian language:

Sounds very Francophone when spoken, but has that Germanic habit of tacking endless prefixes onto words. Some words are fairly easy to recognise compared to their English counterparts, just the consonants/vowels are stretched or stressed differently. Some look like your cat walked across a keyboard.

So, Norway is expensive.

It is broadly approx. 10 NOK to the pound. There is currently an offer on in the corner shop I passed on the way back (an offer!) for two 500ml bottles of Coke for 45NOK. That’s £2.25 a bottle. On offer. It hasn’t been uncommon to see them for 40NOK each today. Most of the chocolate bars I’ve seen start at 10 NOK. Two slices of pizza can run you 100 NOK.

(Luckily boller - soft chocolate- or fruit-studded buns - are relatively cheap. Boller is love. Boller is life.)

There's something different about Norwegian chocolate.

Can't pinpoint it. Tastes maltier? Either way, their boller are on point.
