I just want to say thank you to everyone who has participated in this endeavor, but I think I'm going to stop posting. I love this game and I love how many people I've met and who have helped me and who I've helped, but I think I need to stop. I don't want this account to end up diluted by all the crap in my life and the only way to guarantee that doesn't happen is to shut this down..

I'm sorry if you actually liked this page, it wasn't super popular though and I just don't have the mental energy to keep it going. I'm sorry.

What happens if tarantula no longger need the frog?

great news! that just straight-up doesn't happen.

tarantulas can live for well over a decade, and female tarantulas can expect to breed multiple times before they finally kick it! and since there's always the expectation of there going to be a new clutch of eggs in the nest every year, there's no benefit in getting rid of the frogs that will keep those eggs safe.

a female columbian lesserblack tarantula will treasure and protect her frogs until the day she dies, and then those frogs will go into the care of whichever of her daughters inherits her burrow! it's an eternal cycle. a cycle of frog.

I personally see the hijab ban in the EU as liberating. Everyone will be equal from now on, and women will be liberated from oppressive religious standards. Thoughts?

Forcing women to dress a certain way is never liberating.

A woman choosing to wear or not wear something without interference is liberty.

Having a free choice is the point.

Hijab ban will lead to two things: Women who want to wear one are not gonna be allowed to wear one anymore, which is the opposite of freedom. Women who are not allowed to go out without one by an abuser will not be allowed to go out at all anymore.

This is not how to stop oppression.

women who have been coerced into wearing it (which is wrong, we can all agree on that), could be taken out of the public sphere almost entirely, which will limit her access to education, healthcare, and necessary government services - as well as curb any chances of future financial independence

on the opposite side, women who have been forced by the government to remove their hijab they freely chose to wear now have to choose between removing themselves from the public sphere or continuing to wear it and facing legal repercussion, fines, and even jail time. the other option is that they remove it when they do not wish to do so, which strips a woman of her choice and ability to privatize the parts of her body she does not wish to share with the world and forces her to erase her cultural and religious traditions in order to be deemed societally acceptable by a country that spent hundreds of years colonizing muslim countries and violently oppressing muslim women

and idk how to explain to you guys that none of these options are liberating

I've received a surprising amount of questions after people have visited my island, mostly about BLM and why my avatar has both pale skin and kinky hair, so we're gonna to a little AMA for whoever is interested.

The best thing I can come up with to give an answer to my race, without actually posting myself/my family, is this:

This is what my parents and sibling look like.

Here's me, with much paler skin, freckles, kinky hair, and darker eyes.

Clearly there are some recessive genes at play. Don't ask me how it happened, but it did. I also have some pretty specific genetic issues in common with my family.

For the person who gave me a negative review on ACNH Exchange because of my black lives matter flag:

BLACK LIVES MATTER.
