It’s interesting how ryland was actually deflecting questions about Astrophage in his class instead of answering them straight up like in the book

“Wow! You’re not gonna believe this! NOTHING HAPPENED!” - I really love how they encapsulated Ryland’s sass into the movie. Him interacting with the people watching him was hilarious
I love how they made the security guard Ryland liked into an actual character 🥹 look at them being dorks in ikea

It’s weird hearing rocky “talk”. In the book Ryland actually learns Rocky’s language (and vice versa) and becomes semi-fluent in understanding it
