I would like to apologize to every single one of my wips ever
unsure if i ever posted this rarity
some rainbow dash
btw if you're bored as an artist you should try learning to draw fat and skin folds, it genuinely is really fun once you get into it.
obligatory link to morpho fat and skin folds to help you get started
btw i framed it as "fun to do" because it actually is fun to do and i think telling people theyre a bad person unless they do something well is generally a bad motivator that tends to make people give up at the first sign of imperfection.
pony bases! free to use with credit <3 have fun
I genuinely think the idea that if you should draw a little every day or you'll suffer skill degradation is a total fabrication. Some of the best art I've ever drawn has been coming back from long breaks. I'm talking like weeks. Sometimes you just gotta reset and flush the systems. There's no shame in it. Take breaks. The art will be there for you when you're ready.
artfight attack for @fruitypieq!

it rly is so fucked up how a consistent art style and developing one is soooo emphasized like.. you don't really need to do that unless ur trying to be an industry artist and will be expected to conform to other ppls styles. don't you want more. Don't you want to play and experiment and push without fear. Your art will be recognizable as yours bc the way you interpret the world into 2d is unique to you
if i have any advice, it's that you should develop the "style" of art that you like to see and wanna see more of!!
