this blog is a list of cockslinger's bots that i update periodically to see if any action has been taken against them. it also serves as a list for others to report and block. every bot post i see is reblogged here and reported for spam and/or sexually explicit material (if applicable; ones that mention rape), and the account is reported for spam and blocked.
please occasionally check your following list. the bots follow people, but no one gets notifications because the bot accounts are too new and do not have verified email addresses attached to them. report and block the ones you find in your following list.
the bots seem to come in waves; they will go full force for a day or a few, and then stop. but they will come back again.
** if you are able to, please report this to the FBI, especially if you are being targeted. this is a cybercrime. to do so, visit [ tips.fbi.gov ]. this person has set up (or paid for) a bot farm that generates thousands of spam bots per day with the purpose of spamming rape and death threats to users on the site. each bot targets several users per hour, with several thousand bots being created every day. **

this is how i have personally avoided the bots to the best of my ability:
1. turn off reblogs for all future posts you make. if you plan to make posts that you want others to reblog, make a sideblog. this is mentioned in the next step.
2. stop reblogging things from others. OR, make a sideblog specifically meant for reblogging things, and tell your friends about it. don't reblog things to the blog that's being targeted.
2a. if you feel like it, you can migrate to a sideblog and put password protection on it. stop using your main blog for a while and interact with your friends from the private one.
3. check your following every day or so and purge the bots out of the list. if you don't check often enough, you will be dealing with hundreds of them.
4. go to the webpage version of tumblr, go to your main blog settings, and scroll down to find these visibility settings. turn ALL of them on. this is the step that has helped me the most.
unfortunately, there are too many to add to a list. i am adding tags to the posts based on their content in order to track them more easily. the tags are:

not all of them are currently tagged; i have to go back through and update the ones i've posted before adding a tagging system.
