I see something along the lines of a Chimera in this render, but not quite. I'm not sure, something mythological; perhaps a creature of my minds own invention. I find the creature/creatures easier to see when you enlarge the photo.

Regardless, I really like how it came out. Comments/criticism/thoughts encouraged and appreciated!

Wabi-sabi (侘寂?) represents a comprehensive Japanese world view or aesthetic centered on the acceptance of transience. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".[1] It is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence (三法印 sanbōin?), specifically impermanence (無常 mujō?), the other two being suffering (dukkha) and emptiness or absence of self-nature (sunyata). Characteristics of the wabi-sabi aesthetic include asymmetry, asperity (roughness or irregularity), simplicity, economy, austerity, modesty, intimacy and appreciation of the ingenuous integrity of natural objects and processes.

Cogito ergo sum: The Life and Times of an Existentialist Kraken

I was kinda bored today and started working on this out of nowhere..It's the beginning of a comic series about a Kraken called Waldo who's in a perpetual existential crisis and his misadventures in the search for the answers to the universe.

Not sure where I'm going with this, dunno whether its supposed to be satirical or not; its kind of leaning that way. There's definitely more to come, I'm having fun with it. Figured I'd upload what's done so far.

So I just finished id Software's new game RAGE, and was actually so let down by the ending that I felt the need to post about it on here... Best gun play/AI I've seen in a video game in ages, but such a disappointing plot climax/delivery.
