Your mind is a projector.
Imagine a blank white wall in front of you.
And there is a film machine=a projector projecting a specific image. Let’s say it’s projecting a red colored image or whatever you want it to be.
Would you think that the wall is red colored? It’s just…a red wall somehow? No.
Acknowledge that the wall is actually BLANK first. It’s BLANK. It’s not red, it’s not blue, it’s not purple, not even your most favored color you want the wall to be. And also acknowledge the fact that there is a projector somewhere in this room projecting this ‘red’. You might not exactly see the projector, but it IS there somewhere projecting the wall. Just KNOW that. You KNOW that.
Now, next step—Let’s say you hate that shit ass red color. You don’t like that the wall is that color. You want it to be green. You want it to change. But red is still showing on the wall. So…you’re just there in the red? Oh my god the walls are red cause they’re showing you red?
No! The wall isn’t red! Yes they’re showing red, but does that prove the fact that the wall is red? No. It proves nothing. You’re only seeing what is being projected.
What do you have to do? There is a remote to the projector in your hand. You change the image that’s being projected into whatever image you want. You can also turn it off and leave it as a blank white wall.
Now let’s apply this logic to shifting.
The reality you are seeing feeling, is nothing more than an image being projected on a blank wall.
Just because you see the ‘red image’ currently, doesn’t mean the wall is red, so just because you see the BR(birth reality) currently, it doesn’t mean you are actually IN the BR- if you get what I mean…
Same logic, just because you see and feel BR, it doesn’t prove the fact that you’re in your BR. Because it’s only a vision projected by your mind.
Did you press the button on the remote to the projector? Did you turn the channel to the image you want? If the answer is yes then the job is done. You don’t doubt if you pressed the button wrong, you don’t change the method of simply pressing the button. It is already done right?
Don’t turn the channel back to the ‘red image’, assuming that you somehow pressed the button wrong, while you literally hold the remote right there and you know what image you want it to project.
You hold the remote. You hold the power. The projector doesn’t stop you from pressing the remote, nor randomly disobeys your demand. It is systemed. It is your tool, yours to use.
Acknowledge where you are, the white blank wall, nothing, acknowledge the remote in your very hands, acknowledge the fragile image being projected, that is so changeable, that even could be turned off and leave you at void.
I got this interesting analogy from ‘Projectivism’.
“Projectivism is the philosophical view that a mind actively projects something onto the external world, rather than passively reflecting everything it finds there. It has a long and venerable history in philosophy. Intuitively speaking, projectivism is the idea that in some cases, what we unreflectively take to be features of the world are actually features of our own minds, projected outward onto the world.”
