AHH! I had no idea you updated with a new chapter of Sundays until now, how did I miss it? Oh my god it’s incredible, so much emotion I might actually cry😭 And it’s so sweet that Diane gets to interact with the babieeeessss🥹

Aww... thank you so much, Anon! I'm glad you enjoyed and it's admittedly nice to know that the effort put into conveying those emotions paid off.

Well, heads up that... part two of the chapter (with more of Diane interacting with her new little babes!) is likely to be posted sometime tomorrow 😉

Welll... it's only taken me three days shy of 4 years and 2 months since I asked for 5+ headcanon prompts and probably at least 4 years since you made this request, Anon (if you, by any chance, happen to still be out there, lol), but I am finally getting around to fulfilling that prompt! (And thank God, it is the last of its kind! ...And yes, I realize that I made this way harder on myself than it was supposed to be, but I'm still allowed to feel the great relief! Ha!).

So here you are, Anon, the beginning to the fulfillment of your prompt, as the final segment of Sundays, a project which was inspired and created by weaving together your prompt with two others I received in a similar vein. Mini Update

My goodness, so very much has happened in life and the Good world since I last popped in! I have many thoughts from through the season and the finale(!), but for the time being, having fiiiinally... finished... the next charter of Sundays(!), I wanted to stop by get that posted and, well, wanted to also do and say more here while I’m at it, but the final hours of my Sunday are slipping away awfully quickly, so I thought I’d compromise with a mini update. 

So... who else has had a lot of feelings about the Good finale??! ...Also, how many people are around here these days?? Any incline since the Twitter fiasco?

Anyway, didn’t get a chance to do a live tweet because I was watching “with” someone (from afar, lol, but still with!), so thought I might rewatch (for the tenth or so time, lol) and write out my thoughts as I go and post here, so that may be coming. And I owe a couple of replies still that I won’t get to posting tonight but will soon (thank you for your patience!) And... also, my god, this final season has had my creative mind running which... can be problematic in some ways, but we’ll see if anything more comes from it, haha. 

For now, I’ll leave the updates at that, but I also want to quickly share that I’ve been thinking a lot about this blog and those I’ve met along the way here, as of late (the nostalgia and sentimentality that has come from the wrap of the Good-verse that I have been following and adoring for 13 years now!), and I’m so very grateful for every single person that has ventured into this space, and particularly those that have interacted with me over the years. It’s been so very special to me! 

And now... let me get that new (SO very long overdue!) chapter of Sundays posted!

HI! I was wondering if you could help me to remember a lost #McHart fic, I can't remember the title or the authors name but I remember it was about Dinae and Kurt married. He was in the army and they become pregnant after year, I also remember the plotline of a miscarriage , there was a chapter of them telling his parents, and also Maia and leonore appear in the story. Is there maybe a chance that we could get another glimpse into the new Sundays chapter? I’m sorry if it’s too much to ask. Even if it’s just a sentence it would be amazing and I would 100% read and re-read that sentence until it’s stuck in my brain😂I understand if you don’t want to share anything, we’re just so starved for McHart content at the moment so anything I can get my hands on I’d LOVE! And with the show ending and the unsure feeling of where diane and kurt will end up, I’d really appreciate just a little something🥰Thank you for writing that fic though, it’s certainly one of my favorites❤️

I'm so sorry it has taken so very long to get back to you, and that we are now through the McHart tumult (I really did try to have this ready sooner and kept thinking 'next weekend I'll have it ready!' over and over, weekend after weekend, lol), but... how about instead of providing you with a glimpse, I provide you with a whole post to make up for it?! (Technically not a full chapter as I've decided to split this next one into two, as it got quite lengthy... but because of that length, I promise there's plenty of new material even beyond that initial sneak peek I posted!) First Evening (Première Soirée)

Her clothes were almost off; Outside, a curious tree Beat a branch at the window To see what it could see. Perched on my enormous easy chair, Half nude, she clasped her hands. Her feet trembled on the floor, As soft as they could be. I watched as a ray of pale light, Trapped in the tree outside, Danced from her mouth To her breast, like a fly on a flower. I kissed her delicate ankles. She had a soft, brusque laugh That broke into shining crystals - A pretty little laugh. Her feet ducked under her chemise; "Will you please stop it!…" But I laughed at her cries - I knew she really liked it. Her eye trembled beneath my lips; They closed at my touch. Her head went back; she cried: "Oh, really! That's too much! "My dear, I'm warning you…" I stopped her protest with a kiss And she laughed, low - A laugh that wanted more than this… Her clothes were almost off; Outside, a curious tree Beat a branch at the window To see what it could see.

Hello, hello! Wanted to let you all know that I don’t have the time (or energy) to post details from last night’s screening and chat in two places, I have been sharing some things on Twitter if to want to check in over there… which I can now direct you all to now that I’m “out”! (@nicolefarls)

I, umm… unfortunately don’t have anything particularly rosy to report, lol, it I’ll let you all read more about that over there if you’re interested 👀

Over all I’m so glad I went (and SO grateful that I was able to!), they shared A LOT, and it was rather cathartic, and while Christine snuck away at the end, lol, I DID get to briefly meet and say thank you to the Kings, which felt pretty special 🥲 ♥️

That’s it for now on here, I think, but I’ll likely be back to chat more after Friday evening once more people have had the chance to watch the even virtually (which I HIGHLY recommend, if possible! Link here.) and I can speak more freely with less concerns about my own perceptions coming across in a retelling influencing others’.

So I honestly don’t think I’m emotionally prepared for tonight 😅 But anyway, thought id pop in to say that if anyone else is gonna be there tonight and wants to say hello, shoot me a message!

In the meantime I’ll be doing a little remote work, a little napping (I got 0 hours of sleep last night 😅😅😅), a little curling up and watching The Good Fight, a little starting out my window that has my wanting to cry from pure joy at the view 😭♥️😭♥️ (Honestly, the only thing that could make my view better would be Baranski/TGF promo in the distance 😂)

1✨What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?

Well, I suppose this one is rather fitting for here, lol, because I’ve been to some beautiful places, I have (and I am so very grateful!), but taking the cake would have to be ✨Provence✨! It was an absolute DREAM, and I don’t say that lightly. The winding roads, and the villages, and the watering holes to swim in, and the alps, and the olive groves, and the sunflowers, and the fields of lavender and their intoxicating scent wafting through the air… 😭😭😭 I’m still not over it all.

With so many places to see around the world and limited time and resources to see them all, there are a number of places that I’ve visited and enjoyed that don’t expect to return to. But Provence? I’ve been longing to return since I left.

…I feel like I heard somewhere that in this next/final season we’re going to see the Provence villa Diane wanted to buy in season 1 come back on the market, and I have a feeling that she’s not gonna go for it fully, but if she (and Kurt) doesn’t decide to at least buy the place as a second home to escape to then I think I’ll be ready to determine that she’s officially lost it 💁🏻‍♀️😂

I have to say that when you mentioned on twitter about moving and being in new york (like you said on here), I did have my suspicions that that was you🥰 But I’m so glad to see you back on here because I really did miss your posts and updates <3

It’s actually interesting you should mention you had your suspicions though, because that really does get down to a big part of my why behind my reveal: I was tired of censoring what/how much I posted where. “Well, if I mention this here, I can’t mention it there. Where do I want to post about that? Wait, did I already mention that there??” I never liked having to hide any part of myself based simply on logistics and, frankly, it was getting exhausting. …So mentioning moving and NYC in both places was something that occurred to me could flag my identity, was something I likely would have handled differently in the past, but was ultimately a first step in saying the hell with it.

I’m admittedly still a little uncomfy with all of this, lol, and I definitely don’t see this reveal going both ways (such as linking to here of any works on my Twitter) but it sure is freeing!

And I’m unfortunately not quiiiite back yet—I’ve completed my traipsing through the woods, and moving out of my last apartment (OOF 😩😵), and cat sitting, and a trip up north, whhhhhew! …But still remaining is heading back to my town and beginning moving into my new apartment (this afternoon, actually!), then NEW YORK FOR THE GOOD FIGHT (😭😭😭), and finally settling into my apartment a bit more. (The timing of my reveal post was more of a result of insomnia and culmination of chaos, lol!) But getting there!!

Hiiiii!!!! So I’ve been thinking about this for some time now, but I’m feeling particularly exhausted, uninhibited, and particularly unhinged this evening… or, rather, in the wee hours of this morning, so what the hell, let’s do this thing now, shall we?

Reveal: Hi, my name’s Nicole (my middle initial is E), and I wanted to keep an extent of anonymity for some time, but it’s feeling more right to relinquish that, so here we are. And if you’d like, you can find me on Twitter at @nicolefarls (if you haven’t already).

And… whew… I don’t know why this feels so scary, even in my current state, but it does. (I mean, writing—particularly fanfiction—is a really vulnerable thing, so connecting this persona to my real—and professional—self would be uncomfortable, but it… feels even more scary than that??)
