The Five Star Weekend

I love and own (on DVD and for some reason downloaded on iTunes and Amazon) the 2006 film Catch and Release.

So I was over the moon when I saw Timothy Olyphant was playing Jennifer Garner's love interest in The Five Star Weekend.

And the fact that both movies end the same(ish) way, was *chef's kiss*.

I am becoming very nostalgic in my old age.

My brother and sister-in-law have added a fur baby to their family. Everyone meet Sullivan. He is an absolute cuddle bug with zero respect for your personal space. I adore him.

I have no idea why I cock my head like that when my picture is taken. I’m such a weirdo.

I love asking people how their parents met. You always get an interesting reply. My best friend’s parents met on the relatively new internet in 1999. My other friend’s parents met at Burger King when one was the manager and the other was a regular customer. My parents met at the beach because they were neighbors in their rental houses, mom was on a church trip and dad was getting blackout drunk every night with his friends next door.

Baby girl, I had THREE binders of burned CDs. And that doesn't count all the actual CDs I bought. And the gigantic entertainment center that had racks to hold all those CDs and the CD player, the receiver, the DVD player, the first-gen LCD TV. Before that the giant-ass TV and the VCR. Don't forget the four foot tall stereo speakers, plus the smaller satellite speakers on the wall behind the couch, and the big subwoofer on the floor, so the action movies sounded really cool and really loud. Don't even get me started on the original days of vinyl.

I feel like I'm telling my grandkids about the phonograph.

I love digital music for its quality. Sound so clear it's like Dave Grohl is standing in my living room.

But I do miss the liner notes, the lyrics inside the album, the CD booklets. Looking at it on a website is just not the same.

They posted it late at night and want people to see it in the daytime

They want others to reblog it

They want more attention for it

THEY WANT OTHERS TO REBLOG IT

They have followers in different timezones and want everyone to get a chance to see it
