Day 12: Remember how some of these were meant to represent the day? This one does! This 2000's country song is the first one that comes to mind when I think of a "happy" country song! It's definitely a great day to be alive!

Day 12: Remember how some of these were meant to represent the day? This one does! This 2000's country song is the first one that comes to mind when I think of a "happy" country song! It's definitely a great day to be alive!
Day 11: Trav, out of the blue, wanted to catch up on Great British Baking Show tonight. So what better a song to share than this oddity that is a little ear worm for me by the creator of Nerdy Nummies herself, Ro!
Day 10: For those of you that may not know - I've been very much into Dungeons & Dragons for the last 13ish months! This was brought on by catching a bit of Critical Role's initial campaign with Travis and watching their second campaign from it's start up last year! So it's only fitting, on tonight's first Critical Role episode of 2019 (episode 47 of campaign 2!!!!) that I introduce you to a song that's been in my top 10 listened to for the last few weeks: Your Turn To Role, the Meighty Nein's theme song! <3
I totally posted this on FB yesterday and forgot to post it here, oops!
Day 9: One of my absolute favorite artists - Ms. Cassadee Pope - announced that she has a new album coming out next month and I'm super excited!!! So this is one (of the many) Cassadee songs that I deeply enjoy: Her cover of Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" from her blind audition of The Voice! <3 I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do~
Day 8: I've been rewatching one of my favorite shows the last few days, so what better to be today's song than it's theme song. ♡
Day 7: So guess what would have been a better song for yesterday but I was so tired I didn't realize? 😂So here it is today instead! Home Free is one of my favorites, and this song is a regular in my featured playlist!
Day 6: A nerdy day with my best pals deserves an equally nerdy song from one of my favorite independent performance groups! ♡
Day 5: Even when a day may seem boring, I'm just grateful to spend the day with him. Each day I'm granted, no matter how rough, is just another day in paradise. ♡
Day 4: Y'all should have expected to have at least one Friday-based song pop up on a Friday. Figured we should get it out of the way now! I was introduced to this singer through the concert dad and I went to in Bangor to see the fabulous Reba a few years back. He was one of two opening acts, and immediately I liked his sound. This song is one of his catchiest, and it's become one of my favorites.
Day 3: I am starting to realize that there are some days I will struggle to find the perfect song to share. Before I fell asleep last night I checked my January 3rd memories and the familiar statuses flooded my view as I was reminded that today makes 8 years since my great-grandmother Mildred passed away. I wanted to pick a fitting song but so many of them don't fit the way I wanted them to, and others are being reserved for dates later this year.
The song I decided for day 3 of 365 is one that fits for so many people, and rings true. I'm grateful that, although we lost her on that fateful day 8 years ago, she was able to be at peace and reunited with her husband and her son, Don. I miss you, Grammie Brown. ♡
Day 2: I debated long and hard about what song should follow up "Who I Am" without being a song I'd want to share later this year for specific occasions. I finally settled on this one, another country classic I grew up loving that taught me sometimes you just gotta learn as you go (As well as other lessons I'm still learning from this song).
Day 1: I can't think of a better song to set the tone for the year than this one. It's been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember, and it's a good representation of "Who I Am" ;)
Introductory Post
For 2019, I decided that instead of a new years resolution I would never accomplish, I wanted to take the year to let people get to know me through songs. Ranging from my favorites, to one that have caught my ear, to ones that just fit the day itself. I’ve decided to post them here, too, so I have them. <3
