Happy birthday to our Nugget! It’s so hard to believe that my baby could be 17 years old. Time is passing by so quickly it makes my heart hurt. Here’s to the next year being the best yet!

1st day of Sophmore year and last day. Ready for summer!

20 years. 2 amazing boys. 1 great life together.

This is 19. Started college. Got his first apartment. Living on his own away from home. Making big decisions about his future and figuring things out on his own. This isn’t my baby boo bear. This is grown man stuff. He finished his last day of school on his actual birthday. He has a big year ahead of him. Starts his internship in just over a week.

To look at Boo and see the man he is becoming is overwhelming at times. I am just so proud. Here’s to your next trip around the sun! Happy birthday Boo!

Royals for the win!!

Spent a long weekend at the lake for spring break. We finally got the chance to explore HaHa Tonka state park and it didn’t disappoint- the great weather helped. Did lots of relaxing and a little fishing which Lucy loved!

The boys went up north to Snow Creek to ski. Nugget’s first time and it was successful! They definitely have the bug for skiing now. Guess I better get on board soon.

Happy 2026!

2025 was a year of lasts and firsts. Our last season of archery meant our final yearly trips to Branson and Louisville. Boo graduating high school and starting college. Nugget getting his license to drive and starting Sophomore year. Our first trip to Yellowstone. With hunting, dances and Chiefs all mixed in. I look forward to 2026 with a hopefulness in my heart.

Christmas 2025. I’ve done a terrible job taking pictures. My one surprise was that both boys wanted to make cookies on Christmas Eve. So a last minute run to the store and kept the tradition alive. My heart is full.

This weekend Boo rode the train from Jeff City to Lee Summit with Mamaw. We finally got to see Nugget coach is group of salty friends to victory in rec basketball. Then sent hubs and his mom off to the Chiefs game- hope we get the W!

Nugget’s friends are playing rec basketball. Nugget is the coach. He had me purchase a dozen clipboards so he could break them in half at games when they get a bad call. Serious ballers.
