I am always surprised at how few pictures I have of her! She is very photogenic, so i should take advantage of that lol.

I made this account a few months ago because i wanted to get better at frawing. I figured the best way to do this was to draw as much as possible, and the internet is full of pet pictures, so what better muses are there? Plus ive always loved animals, and ive been a bit of a furry forever lol. Since i started doing this, i think i have gotten better at drawing, but i also understand more what art is about. When I started, I never imagined someone would be so honoured at seeing a drawing of their loved one, i am so happy to give that to people.
I think a lot (too much) about how Siri will one day die. I wont have to stick my leg through my front door as i open it so she doesn’t run outside, she wont sit on my chest and pur and nuzzle my hands, asking to be pet, nor will she nip at my ankles as i walk around my small apartment. Seeing everyone here loving their pets, honoring their pets after death, even, inspires me to focus on loving my darling angel while I still have her. She’s only 5 years old! Besides, I’ve seen enough evidence to believe that love lives on after death. If you have sent a picture if a pet my way, if i have drawn a pet and you enjoyed it, even if you didn’t say so, thank you.
You have no idea how good it feels when someone notices your pet AND takes time to acknowledge them by drawing or rebloging
The only downside about pets is that as you said they will someday die and let silence take place in the home but that silence... it's the missing sound of things falling and claw marks being made
