Male loneliness this, male loneliness that. Have they tried lobotomies? Tranquilizers? Being fingered by medical professionals? Tearing the yellow wallpaper off the walls of the attic room where your husband keeps you locked up?

‘Children of Shatila’ (Lebanon, 1998) film by Mai Masri. In this scene the youth of the Palestinian refugee camp interview an elder with a video camera.
The whole "Key to Heaven" concept that Satrapi talked about in her memoir is probably the most disgusting piece of propaganda that was co-opted West, because I know a bunch of Iranian Shi'as, some of whom are veterans of the Iraqi-Iran war, and none of them have ever heard of it.
The Key to Heaven was a myth where Iranian child soldiers were wearing a key around their neck, so that, in their supposed martyrdom while fighting the Iraqis, the keys would grant them access to heaven.
Not only is this a myth, but it has no religious basis.
honestly im not even waiting for that green light and i dont even want it
stop posting about your badly behaved dog i mean husband online if you’re going to get upset with the people telling you he’s a bite risk. “look at what my husband packed me for my lunch” and it’s the most insulting low effort assortment of snacks you’ve ever seen accompanied with a note that says “i see you as subhuman”. “ugh guys stop telling me my husband doesn’t respect me you’re not the ones in the relationship you don’t know what he’s really like” yes i do and i think you should have him put down.
if i could give advice to me as a teenager i would say be 25
