Melrose Place Re-Watch Notes: Season 3  Episodes 6+7+8

-Jake visiting his dad was a nice subplot. The guy that plays him has a creepy voice...

-Chris Marchette makes me wanna fucking puke.

-Jake defending Sydney is great. He's such a stand up guy. Beating the shit outta Chris Marchette made me so happy. It was frustrating to watch Syd get fucked with by Chris and no one believing her...

-Peter Burns is a boss, and he makes Michael look like a fool as soon as he shows up.

-Allison's room mate Susan is quite a strange looking girl. Its also obvious she's not from L.A. by how bad she is at lying...I'm not sure how Billy expected this to play out, but we'll see...

-Allison still sucks.

Episode 5: Non Sexual Healing

Mikey Boy finally gets his memory back after 3 different ex wives use his amnesia to their own advantage. Especially Syd, who sneaks up on him and introduces herself as "Miranda" in the hopes of getting some more of that Mancini juice in her. He then pays her a visit and ties her up...but calls her out. ("oh my god...Michael....is that YOU....?"). Kimberly's reaction was far better. 

Mancini is back.

MelrMelroseMelrose Place Re-Watch Notes: Season 3

The entire subplot of Kimberly and Sydney trying to kill Michael is fun but the fact that he wakes up with amnesia afterward is just awful. Its like the writers read 1 page of the Soap Opera Rulebook and decided that this was necessary. Mancini starts acting like a wide eyed little boy and he's all sweet and nice to everyone?....Disgusting.

As with a lot of things I don't remember from the first time around, I don't recall how exactly he snaps out of it, but I think Matt has something to do with bringing him out of his stupidity....

Chas Russell, Amanda's mom's boy toy who briefly works for D&D is definitley one of the scummiest supporting characters in the history of the show. Here's a list of some others that ooze almost as much sliminess..

Chris Marchette, Richard Hart, Reed, Palmer Woodward, Charles Parker, Nick Diamond, Vince & Bobby Parezi, Steve Harris, Keith Gray, Nick Reardon, Vic Munson.....I could go on, but thinking about the certain fate of the unknown actors who played all these douches is making me sad.

Wholy shit I totally forgot about how Jo busts her ass falling down the steps trying to save her cute little model friend from her violent boyfriend. And then it goes straight to the credits. What a weird ending. Had I seen that originally in '94 I would've been pretty pissed that I had to wait a week to see if she dies...
