Headcanons for Fade and Neon (Fadeshock)
Neon hasn't felt any physical affection in a while, ever since she realized what her powers did, she has been distancing herself from others and showing or receiving any physical affection. The night Fade caressed her face or gently held her was the first night in a while she had felt physical affection. She almost had a breakdown.
Fade has only ever gotten affection from the stray cats she feeds. For her it's not really that deep though, she just feels extremely awkward and a bit uncomfortable when met with physical affection, she has no idea how to give or receive. It takes a while for her to get comfortable to affection from a human being and actually start enjoying it a lot
The first night Fade spent with Neon, she had no idea how to even exist near Neon without feeling awkward about her movements. But after months time she had realized how far she had come when she was holding Neon in her arms in such a perfect way. Perhaps she could assume it's just because they fit so well together, but maybe that's too sappy
basically they both give eachother what they didn't have or haven't had in a long time
Fade loves the mornings and Neon prefers the late evenings/nights
The one who confessed first was Fade, it was on a late evening and she was laying down holding Neon gently in her arms. She suddenly felt a little emotional and very affectionate and suddenly held Neon closer and firmly gave her a kiss on her head "I love you so fucking much." Neon was surprised and flustered but she slowly buried her face in the crook of Fade's neck and whispered a silent "I love you too" she then accidentally gave Fade a strong electrical shock.
Their first kiss was actually before the confession, they were doing the same thing they do most evenings/nights where they talk or do things together, and they were just laying there on Neon's bed once a realization hit Neon. She really only wants to be this close to Fade, she only wants to receive affection like this from Fade, She wants to be near Fade, she wants to be with Fade. So she suddenly began to just zone out. Fade laying right infront of her, beginning to get a bit worried, was about to question what was wrong, only to then have her lips shut by Neon's.
Fade actually gently caressed Neon's cheek when Neon kissed her, to then firmly kiss back.
Neon really likes MLP, one time when she let Fade into her room, she forgot about her MLP poster and plushies.

They both watched the entirety MLP together, Fade actually ended up really liking it
During a romantic Movie night, Neon and Fade laying on the bed smooching, as the lyrics "A true true friend helps a friend in need" play on the laptop screen

Fade and Neon usually play MC together in the same room. Neon has her earphone in on only one side so she can hear Fade if she talks to her. Fade doesn't play with sound on or any music. She enjoys listening to the cave sounds, but above all, she likes listening to the quiet zap sounds Neon makes sometimes
There's times where Neon seriously ends up hurting Fade because of her powers, even though Fade doesn't mind, when that happens, she tends to isolate and distance herself completely from Fade due to guilt. Fade waits for as long as Neon needs and constantly tries to get her to come out of her room, though usually it ends in Fade falling asleep infront of her door. It takes a lot of reassurance and time but, she doesn't mind
Fade and Neon run around with eachother's stuff on missions. Neon with Fade's shorty and Fade with Neon's gunbuddy.
