Kind of a basic one, but still a favorite! Your stomach can digest louder based on how much air is in there.

The noises it makes when it growls, whether it be hunger or digestion, are normally audible due to the organ squeezing around the air in your tummy. Less food you have, the more air to squeeze, which is why it can be loud when you’re hungry.

For example, if you have a ton of food, like a stuffing sesh, yeah it’ll be pretty loud most of the time and some of that is due to you naturally swallowing air while you eat (this is also why you burp). Buuuut even if you have a tiny snack (like a handful of crackers or something) oftentimes, your stomach will go NUTS due to how much air is in there still and you can hear the whole process go down.

The digestion has started, but it’s like every noise is being amplified with the echoes of your still mostly-empty tum..

I will swallow air sometimes to keep my prey alive so they struggle for longer. With air I would guess you’d last for a few hours depending on your size. My stomach’s acid is very powerful.
