Last cast on a last minute evening trip, i saw a shy rise and thought let's get this little guy and go home. It wasn't a little guy. It went fast, it went high and it went low, wasn't sure i would get to see him. The reel screamed, so did I, and the 2 wt rod bent all the way, it probably saved the tippet. A personal best: 18" fat bow ate a size 14 elk hair on a 2wt.

Biggest fish i caught on a bow & arrow cast. From the tree covered bank, no room to cast in these pines, super shy fish so no wading possible. A nice butter belly.
