notes:so i try writing everyday and i didnt feel like working on anything else, so i made this just to keep my motivation alive. also its a headcannon that veronica has a stuffed animal that she is very attached too(that IS important)

chandler shifts around in her bed, tossing the blanket onto the floor.
she sits up to get then she looks over.
veronica isn't there, the two agreed on a sleepover, and veronica wasn't supposed to go home until tomorrow morning.
she glances at her alarm clock.
the big numbers flashing "4:32" early. too early
chandler quickly grabs the blanket and tosses it back onto the bed.
she gets up and exits the room.
she walks down the hallway, and notices the kitchen light is on.
she walks into the kitchen and finds veronica sitting at the kitchen table drinking a glass of water, looking at the floor not paying much attention.
chandler takes a seat.
"hey, sawyer." chandler says, while pulling out the chair and sitting.
"couldn't sleep?" chandler asks, putting her hand on the other girls thigh, and rubbing it gently.
veronica shakes her head, then mutters "i uh, forgot to grab something at home and i kinda struggle to sleep without it."
chandlers gaze softens a bit.
"that sucks. was it like meds or something?" chandler asks, her hand moving to the girls shoulder.
veronica shrugs.
"no… you wont tease me if i spill?" veronica asks, her tone nervous.
chandler grabs the cup and takes a sip of the water, then she shrugs.
"no. i wont tease you. just tell me." chandler says, flicking the cup making a small clink sound.
veronica lets out a small sigh then speaks again.
"well, i have this teddy bear, and usually when i have a bad dream or just cant sleep he usually helps. I've had him since i was little so he's pretty special to me. i just forgot him at home today." veronica mutters in shame.
chandler puts her hand on Veronica's shoulder again.
"well, i know it might be too late to go get him, but… we can cuddle if you'd like, that might make you get some rest." chandler suggests, while tucking a piece of hair behind the girls ear.
Veronica's cheeks heats up slightly.
"i mean.. i wouldn't mind it." veronica mutters.
chandler lets out a small chuckle, then replies.
"good. lets get you to bed, and maybe you can tell me more about this bear." chandler says, while moving to swoop up veronica.
veronica rests her head on chandlers shoulder, whiles chandler holds her bridal style.
chandler clicks off the kitchen light while exiting.
the two make it to chandlers bedroom, chandler placing veronica on her bed gently, then she sits next to the shorter girl.
chandler lays back, lying next to veronica.
veronica quickly snuggles into chandler, resting her head on the blondes chest.
"god, you're so comfy." veronica mutters, her hand coming up to rest on chandlers stomach.
chandler smiles softly and puts one of her hands on the back of Veronica's head, gently twirling a loose strand of hair around one of her fingers.
"glad you're cozy. you should try and get some rest its late. we can go get your bear tomorrow." chandler says softly.
veronica gives a small nod and mutters a small "fine."
she shuts her eyes, resting against chandler, enjoying the warmth.
chandler grabs the blanket she threw aside earlier and wraps it around them both, making sure veronica was snug, and herself was warm.
she gently rubs Veronica's back as she dozes off.
The two cuddle for the rest of the night, and the next day, they pretend nothing happened.
