It came right down to the wire, but I finished the 52 Films by Women Challenge for 2016. I hope people will continue to sign up, and hopefully this blog can continue to bring some small attention to it.

I intend to keep at this blog, updating whenever I watch a film directed by a woman, and more generally I have resolved to be more aware of where my movies come from. In researching for the Challenge, I came across literally hundreds of movies I had never heard of and am so excited to watch. The main lesson is that this is a deep well, but it needs to be deeper, and maybe more prominently placed.
