OPEN ; First Impressions
Oh... the otherâs shirt catches his eye.Â
It looks familiar-- he could almost remember why it looks familiar. Was the fabric similar to one he owned? It looks designer.
âSorry-- Iâm staring... Uh-- Iâm Charlie.â He attempts to be normal. âWhere did you get your shirt?â So much for being normal.
âThatâs fucked up.â He says out loud. âIs that all that happened?â
ooc: Hi-key Iâd be down to add an assassin. He could be government owned and takes under the table jobs. Then... I also want to make an Alpha werewolf. Two character pages to work on for this week.Â

charlie dawson  -  original character  - 10+ yrs writing  -  written by bobbi
Some will call him an artist and before his time. Others will say heâs trashy and should spend his time doing important things. What does Charlie think? He doesnât give a fuck. Charlie just wants to smoke a blunt and watch netflix; instead heâs got titties and dicks in his face daily.
Hi, meet my son, Charlie. Heâs a porn director and photographer. Charlie thought this was going to be the dream life, but sadly itâs fucking with his love life. Â
Home & Contact & Guidelines & Charlie
preachesmanâ:
he pauses : looking over at charlie before laughing awfully sarcastically, rolling his eyes as he did so. âdonât joke about that, man. we â i could have went to jail for graffiti!â thereâs a real chill down his spine as steve looks over at the man, trying to think of something plausible, his fingers flowing through his hair. âi didnât think so. i mean, i thought it would be NORMAL, but i guess not.â
Silently, Charlie finds it adorable, how Steve believes his graffiti will earn him real tax paying jail time. He needs to stop himself from re- aching over to pinch Steve. âI dunno, I believe a police offer should give you a stern talking to,â  Charlie  nods; but his act is hard to keep up.Â
âI wouldnât worry; unless youâre a dumbass and turn yourself in.â         Charlie hopes itâs enough to bring down Steveâs anxiety.Â
sekiitanâ:
âPineapple on pizza?â he grimaces, covering up playfulness. âAnd here I thought you were trying to keep away from batshit crazy.âÂ
Sure enough, the front doesnât hold up. Sure enough, the alcohol or this odd sort of giddiness budding in his chest forces through his scowl and Tobias dares to grin. âTobi. Damn, I canât remember the last time anyoneâs called me that.â His mother, perhaps, but thatâs ages passed. âPizzaâs the same storyâŠdonât ask when I last had it.â With the same sort of melancholy look seen briefly from Charlie, he wonders how long itâs been since he simply indulged. Humans are selfishâ and he continuously lets them.Â
âIâd like to try the pineapple,â he says. The silence is heavy and his cigarette is half gone. Tobias itches for something to do with his hands, short of smoking through the pack. âThereâs a joint up the block if you donât mind walking.âÂ
Oh boy, Charlie is charmed by the facial expression. He wants to do more things to bring out this unique side of Tobi. âIâve been known to CHALLENGE the social norms. Hopefully, youâre not too bothered with my name preference for you. Iâd like to keep calling you Tobi.â His cigarette is almost finished. No cigarette has ever tasted this good; Charlie muses it must be the company.Â
Tobi is turning out to be full of surprises. Charlie assumes heâs a type of person that people can only stand for so long. Tobi on the other hand wants to have pizza with Charlie? âYeah, letâs introduce you to pineapple pizza,â Charlie answers with a grin. He agrees before he can make up an excuse to back out.Â
âHOLD ON--â Charlie paused and looked slightly embarrassed. âAre you asking me as a cool friend, or as a romantic interest?â Charlie canât be too sure; he doesnât want there to be confusion.Â
preachesmanâ:
âcalm â you act like i killed someone,â he says, partially calm as he looks over at the other, panicking on the inside as he shrugs his shoulders. âgee, i thought i would just call the police, but y'know⊠that obviously canât happen!â
âWould you like me to call the police for you? 9-1-1, right?â He spoke in a serious tone, but his eyes gave it away.Â
Heâs poking fun at the young man.Â
âWho thought tonight would be this EVENTFUL, eh?â He nudges the other with his elbow.
Charlieâs a glass full kinda guy today, apparently.
âShit; you really fucked up.â He points out the obvious. Listening to the strangers problems, Charlie isnât sure how to help. âHow do you plan on fixing the situation?â
sekiitanâ:
His smile shifts from genuine to confident. âSome of us have useful talents. Others?â A hand sprawls on his chest. âWell, itâs my personal opinion that pettiness has endless applications, hardly the leastâ amusement.âÂ
Cigarette glowing, he pockets the device and pulls in a deep breath, holding the heat in his chest.
âMy friends call me Tobi⊠the few that I have.â Heâs selective in that area; guarded. The handful that know him know him well. In his game, such information is dangerous. âClearlyââ Tobias gestures around at the deserted sidewalk. ââthey arenât my reason for coming out.â A mix of business, a mix of boredom took him to the seedy bar, however as Charlie mentions it, he thinks it best to drop business altogether. The nightâs young, after all; crisp and clear, too.Â
Another drag fills his lungs. He flicks ash from the end and glances at his companion.Â
âHowâs the rejuvenation coming along?âÂ
âThe few that you have,â Charlie repeats and eyes his peer with a curious expression. TEMPTING. He wonât press for more information. He laughs and takes a drag from his cigarette. âI donât blame you. Life can be too fast to keep up with friends.âÂ
The joke has Charlie snickering. âClearly--- Good thing I came around, Tobi,â Charlie says like heâs trying to see what Tobiâs name sounded like coming from him.Â
âHonestly? Iâm going fucking batshit because Iâm not in the office calling the shots.â He chuckled to himself, his tone is still lighthearted. âI know they are trying to take things in their own vision, because humans are selfish creatures and want to prove something.â His nose wrinkles. He does exhales and glanced back to Tobi. âThen when I stop being dramatic, Iâd say tonight is showing lots of promise.â He answers the otherâs questions and inhales a puff of smoke, with his gaze on Tobi.
âDo you like pineapple on your pizza?â
sekiitanâ:
âOh, itâs hardly a will to live.â The smile greeting him is charming enough that he opens no figurative tab for the smoke and lighter given. âA will to outlive, perhaps.â
Feeling particularly clever over that, Tobias shares a smile in turnâ his acceptance of the offer. Another cigarette is plucked from his pocket, held precariously between his lips as he flicks a fifty down for the tab. âBut are we truly living without a little risk?â
By this point, Charlie takes the offered cigarette and lighter. "How PETTY of you,â Charlie teased and laughed, but there was a lightness in his tone. Heâs genuinely enjoying himself and leads the other outside of the bar.Â
Charlie lights up the cigarette and returns the lighter.Â
âThanks--- âM Charlie.â He introduces himself around his cigarette and exhaled smoke. He reached to have a proper exhale.âI was forced out of my office and told to get outta my head.â He admits. Careful about what he reveals about his work. âWhat brought you here?â
sekiitanâ:
A single brow lifted, Tobias spares a look in the direction of the query. âAttempting to kick the habit, actually.âÂ
But, ever prepared, he finishes whatâs left of his drink and rummages through his coat pocket. A moment later, he presents the stranger with both, as requested.Â
âI often find myself in the company of those who do.âÂ
SHIT--- Charlie doesnât expect the other to turn and reveal a face like that. âAttempting to kick the habit? You found the will to live? You must share your SECRETS.â Charlie is making an effort to keep the interactions interesting.Â
âCome with me.â He offers. âOne more cigarette wonât put another nail in your coffin, I promise.â
