There is Light and Dark within us all. I think despite the dark feeling negative it can be sharpened for good. There is plenty of good anger, sadness, pain can motivate us to do when targeted correctly. This is just as true for light. Happiness, calm, comfort, all are beautiful things but too much can cause us to become stagnant if not careful. Ignorance is bliss for a reason just as much as the truth hurts. Both Light and Dark, Joy and Pain contribute to the human experience through their contrast. I believe accepting and utilizing both can help save us all. To feel the pain of your fellow human being, to share the joy we find, brings us closer and closer. Righteous Anger is needed to exterminate the evil that has found its way into power, just as Relentless Kindness is needed to heal all the wounds we’ve all endured.
There are a few key ingredients needed to be kept in mind: Love and Empathy. I think despite the duality of both, there is more light associated with these words. I believe in the end light will be all we need, but there is no shame in feeling the dark for the meantime. We can’t ignore it so we must use it. However once we accomplish peace we must embrace the warmth light brings, but never forget the good the dark has done for us.
Blood will be spilt and the world may burn but in the end beauty and growth will take the place of destruction. This is in no way me entertaining the idea of the end of humanity or Earth but instead the immediate removal of the systems and the people that choose to use us, kill us, exploit, enslave, abuse, and terrorize all for personal gain.
I believe there is still hope to be had and love to be shared. Together we are stronger than anything that dares to step before us. We must never forget this. We must hold on and never let go. We will survive, we will win. I love you all.
