・Beatrix is an Ex celestial. She used to be the Celestial of the Void/Shadows and witchcraft. But was then downgraded to a guardian. The reason for that? Love.
・As we have barely seen with the very little information we have, we know that Astro is an ex celestial as well. But that doesn't necessarily mean he's lost control of what he once had, it just means he is limited on what he is able to do.
・The same is for Beatrix. After she fell in love with Enalise and Orion(the angel father. I haven't thought much on him honestly lol) she was demoted to a Guardian which I see as a rank below the celestials. While the crime itself wasn't bad, it was still frowned apon.
・Believe it or not, Everyone in the family got a punishment bc of the parents crimes- bc also keep in mind, Beatrix fell in love with 2 people way below her rank. Which was a Celestial/goddess of shadows/void and a goddess of witchcraft. And Enalise made that deal when she was 30
・Immortality is punishment enough. We know this, it seems like a gift but really it's a curse disguised as a blessing. That was why the celestials didn't do anything to Enalise(hell hound). Because she made the wish for immortality when she was 30. AND she passed it down to her children. But that's where they decided to tinker with the quadruplets immortality a bit... After they die, they have 3 days of death and then they can be revived.
・Orion... Didn't get it so easy though.. The punishment he got was. A bit worse. He got the punishment of reincarnation. Meaning everytime he died, he was revived again. But the catch was that everytime Enalise and Beatrix found him and they all fell in love again and stuff like that, he'd die a gruesome death. The only way he can actually be free from his punishment is if he doesn't fall in love with Enalise and/or Beatrix for ONE life time. And so far.. He hasn't succeeded. So he's doomed to the endless cycle of birth, life, love, and then gruesome death. That's why Beatrix and Enalise have stopped looking for him in every life time after the Quadruplets were born.. Because they want him to escape his punishment.
・There is a way for Beatrix to bypass her punishment too! And get her body back! There's always been a way for that to happen, just like how Leonidas got his body back. While Cuphead had to parry him after fighting the monsters and such, that's a little more difficult with Beatrix.
・Beatrixs punishment was to see her husband die time and time again. AS WELL AS, She would have to be willing to risk her kids lives, in order to get her body back. BUT. She would never do that to her children. That's why solstice can't find the books on Leonidas or Beatrix. Because they dont want to be found. Beatrix doesn't want her daughter willingly putting herself in that position just for her. Because she knows her daughter. She ended up just like her.
Ofc she was gonna try to get to her mother's body.
・Here's the problem they would have run into. Getting all 4 of them in the same place to revive her. Not just anyone can do it. No, it has to be the direct descendants of her own flesh and blood. Which would be; Monroe, Solstice, Brixton and Aron. The reason is has to be them is because she might be a guardian currently, but she was still a Goddess/Celestial. She is just a guardian till her punishment is up. So basically she has to be willing to put her children in danger and she isn't allowed to help them when it comes to actually retrieving her body.
・Thats another reason why she can't help Solstice look for the books. It ties into that because this was her own Library. Of course the book on herself would have her punishments description. These obviously aren't ordinary books you'd find in a normal library. We should know this by now.
