Lovely followers, 

It is after much thought and discussion with my fellow admins that we have decided to close this blog. It has been nearly three years since this blog was created and over that time we have had a lot of good times. A lot of not so good times as well but I believe that’s par for the course when it comes to blogs like these. It is, after all, a drama blog. 

That being said, it’s time for us to move on from this blog. I can only speak for myself (I’m sure my co-admins will add something to this) when I say that I’ve had little desire to pay attention to 5sos beyond a surface level. I’ll still listen to their music, go to theirs shows, etc. But I have no desire to pay attention to their  personal lives or speculate on the people they choose to surround themselves with. 

You guys have been a really great group of people and I’m very thankful to everyone that has contributed to this blog. I know that some of you may be really sad that this blog will be inactive from here on out. I will leave the blog up as a resource to anyone who wishes to use it but I encourage you all to create your own space for further discussion. 

Thank you so much for 2.5 years of fun!

So, I kinda took a step back and became a casual fan from 2017ish until right before Calm came out, but I still haven't been super invested this year. It looks like I missed A LOT. Wait, so Calum is a guy who only wants to sleep with women and doesn't respect them now? Where did that come from? (Not saying that's what I'm reading here, but it's just all over the calum hood tag). Apparently he doesn't see women as human but just as three holes and a pair of tits. I'm so baffled about where this even came from?

Wow. People are really reaching aren’t they? It feels like people are drawing this as a natural conclusion because Calum either doesn’t partake in serious relationships, or if he does then he’s private about it.  Meanwhile, the other three act as if they can’t function as human beings without their “girlfriends”. I guess people assume that means he’s a misogynist. I literally can’t figure out where else they would get that from. 

Something tells me this Brandy character is probably not dating Calum if they’re the only one “strongly hinting” about it. Generally, it’s a two way street and both people will hint about it before some announcement is made. 

Then again...the whole world is strange right now so who knows.

basically there’s this musician/ig model named almond milk hunni (or brandy) who uses (she/they) pronouns. anyway brandy’s been hinting pretty strongly that they’re dating calum and now people on 5sos-confessional are getting pissed off for two reasons: 1) brandy is prob not dating him and is just doing this for attention 2) calum is being called a dick bc he’s a womanizer ig?? not trying to sound condescending! just a short summary

I'm so confused. There's a whole conversation going on over at 5sos-confessional about how Calum is apparently furiously sleeping around, treating people poorly and liking explicit pictures left and right. And not that that couldn't be true but, based on what are we saying this all of a sudden??

I was just skimming it and I really have no idea what that’s all about.
