meet leah tan - a sophomore education major at briar university, and a starting forward for the school's soccer team. she's played soccer ever since she could walk, and wants nothing more than to play for the nwsl. she got put onto the starting 11 halfway through her freshman year, dethroning one of the seniors just months before graduation. with leah's mom being the head coach of the team, accusations of favoritism started to run wild. even though leah knows she's worked her ass off to get that roster spot, she can't help but feel guilty every time she gets praised. add that to the fear of crazy party stories or college gossip getting back to her mom, and it's easy to see that the first few years of college aren't going as well as she'd hoped.

dean doesn't know what to think right now. since he had met that girl who make his head and heart spin, he wasn't really the same. not that he hadn't tried to get under someone else. it had almost worked. but he had to admit that nothing worked. the only thought and his throughts entierely were onto the brunette bombshell that didn't wanted him. or did she? this is why talking to beau about it was safer.
his blue eyes were on his bottle of beer as he listened to the other give in another advice as he shook his head, raising his head toward him. " no, third can't happen. she doesn't want to. i mean... she told me to sleep with someone else and maybe she would consider something but... i can't... nothing fucking work. and you know how i am. i don't have any problem with girls. they come at me and i am happy to give them what they want but... allie. damn. she is getting under my skin. "
beau couldn't help the grin that slowly stretched its way across his lips as soon as dean had started talking about allie. about fucking time, he thought, though he made sure to keep silently drinking his beer as his best friend rambled on. he'd figured something was up after the first few hours in the truck and fully expected to talk about it as soon as they'd dropped allie off in new york. and when dean immediately started playing it just as cool with beau (while trying not to make it obvious that he was checking his phone every minute), he knew something was up.
now, watching him ramble over the music blasting at malone's, beau could only laugh. ❝ holy shit, someone finally closed down six flags, ❞ he mused, before reaching across to clap a hand on his best friend's shoulder. beau wasn't one to talk - he was just as much of a fan of casual hookups as dean - but beau couldn't deny how thrilled he was to finally be the one teasing a new potential relationship. ❝ have you told her that you don't wanna sleep with anyone else? ❞ he asked, wiggling his eyebrows.
