Even though my activity on here over the past few months doesn't suggest this, I am, in fact, alive. So, here's the deal: the laptop that I'm using to polish up my initial draft of my version of the first season of Obey Me is in a room that is currently buried in stuff due to having to move things around for electrical work (which has turned into quite the saga, but it's too long to get into at the moment). I can't even get to the desk that it's sitting on, the room is that crowded (so simply emailing the file to myself so that I can work on it on a different device isn't really an option at the moment).
However, just because I haven't been active on Tumblr.com does not mean that I don't still think about these characters, because I do. A lot. Especially when I'm listening to music. I also know that a new game is coming out in the near future where the MC can marry one of the brothers. I don't know if there will be a story element to this, but just the idea of this game has some gears turning in my head.
You see, there's a specific bit of lore that I recall getting randomly dropped in the final season created for the game Nightbringer involving a certain character's evolution. You may also recall a post I made about my theory about the whole Lightbringer/Nightbringer thing (which basically says that they're yin/yang type spirits that inhabit different pairs of people throughout the course of history and that the last set of individuals that had these spirits inside them are in a unique position due to the fact that they get to witness the spirits interact with the most current pair). These two pieces of information are connected in my mind.
To make a long story short (and if I can ever get around to writing it), I imagine that the wedding between MC and the demon brother of their choosing (which in my case will most likely be Lucifer) will, without a doubt, infuriate this specific character in a way that will make the beach scene in that same season of Nightbringer seem like a cake walk in comparison. Perhaps this character will give in to his urges and not only submit to his transformation, but resolve to destroy everyone and everything in order to have MC for himself.
But, you know, I have to get to my good laptop first and finish what I've started first.
