After fresh coat of Ferrari Red and Panasport wheels sandblasted and powder coated. The BGT gets a new look. It's not buffed yet and dirty. Look at the license plates. These are special ordered from England.

Back on the road after 10 months

During painting, part of the pack went low and when I charged the entire pack, some of the modules which didn't go low were charged beyond 4.2v and damaged. Those bloated so much that one of the positive terminal sorted to the body of the pack and in turn the body of the car. I'm lucky not to blow the car up. With that, some how the controller went bad. Got it fixed by FSIP. HPEVS loaded the newest firmware and it works fine now. Special thanks to Bill and Bryan at HPEVS. They were very helpful and quick, despite not buying the motor controller from them or the resellers.

In your GT are all the leaf batteries under the hood? How many modules? In my GT I am starting to look for Batteries. Did you see Ben Nelson's video on 24 modules leaf Batteries. I would like to get about 100 miles.

Controller went bad

While the car was in bodyshop, the charge in HV pack went down very low. When I charged, few cells bloated and shorted the battery terminal to the car and eventually to the body of the car. 100vdc was floating on the cat, luckily other end of the pack was not sorted and cat didn't blow up. When this happened, the controller went bad internally. The throttle pot input was bit recognized correctly. Just shipped the controller to get it repaired. Another 3 weeks car should be back on the road.

Wilwood calipers work well. Comes with an adapter. Very light weight with 4 cylinders.

Lost about 15 lbs. These calipers are about 3 lbs each and MG stock are about 11 lbs each. No rubbing or drag, while driving. Stops when I apply brakes. This is an expensive, but a nice upgrade.
