saxon switzerland, where Iispent much of my childhood and youth because my father worked for the national park and I later became an enthusiastic climber, is not without reason one of the most spectacular national parks in germany. whether you visit for just a short time or stay for days, sleeping in the gorges and forests, you can understand why it has inspired artists since the romantic period and is also a popular location for films and tv series.

die sächsische schweiz, in der ich große teile meiner kindheit und jugend verbrachte, da mein vater für den nationalpark arbeitete und ich später auch begeistert kletterte, ´gehört nicht umsonst mit zu den spektakulärsten nationalparks in deutschland. wenn man ihn besucht, ob nur kurz oder über tage und in den schluchten und wäldern übernachtet, kann man verstehen, dass er kunstschaffende seit der romantik inspiriert und auch als drehort für filme und serien begehrt ist.
