And if you'd like to know, one of the largest black trans women on twitter was harassed off of the site. No she did not do anything in particular, just posted an image of a sign she didn't make herself that claimed white trans people oppress black trans people (referring to I believe the silencing of a black trans woman who was slated to speak at the protest but was kicked off last minute. @/septembersister, If that's accurate.)

This is why white feminism is so dangerous. You have to understand intersectionality, you have to listen to the black and brown trans people in your communities, you have to give them space to speak or you create places where it is less socially risky to have profited off of racism than it is to be black.

people are telling someone on here that they should commit suicide, that they deserve to die, that they hope nobody donates to their fundraiser, that they deserve to be begging for money, etc. and then you check their own blog and there's a ko-fi with tumbleweeds passing by that gets reblogged only by the blog's owner a few times a day saying they need bloggers' charity to live. for all the principles people claim to have they're very keen to let being anti-harassment become an 'in name only' title as soon as they have a target they can dogpile because suddenly it's praxis for Them to tell someone to kill themselves.

at some point you're going to have to realise that going "only the in group can talk about the fucked up shit we're doing" is very transparently "group trying to hide evidence of abuse from public scrutiny" of you. it's very FLDS of you. very Mormon. very Scientologist. it's also the sort of thing that gets you people that very much hate you and people like you as the only ones who get public attention for speaking out against you, because when you silence people approaching things with compassion, the only people you're left with are the ones that want to watch you burn.

every time you see someone saying not to talk about an issue your group is facing because "what if people that hate us see it" it is a sign that you should be louder. being committed solely to optics at the cost of victims of abuse is something that happens in quite literally every group and movement because victims (whom are majority women and therefore seen as disposable) are not seen as important and addressing abusers' wrongdoings is seen as a great risk to The Cause. and you wouldn't want The Cause to fail and the people who hate you to win, would you? (for a recently exposed and relevant example of this, see Cesar Chavez)

personally my commitment to protecting those like me involves not hiding behind "the wrong person is doing the looking!!!" as a defense against things, which means that when bad actors try to accuse me and communities I am in of ignoring issues and silencing victims, I have a history and evidence and solid counterpoints.. but that's just me. thankfully my lack of the terrible guilt from sin means that I can post whatever I want without worry 😆👍

very necessary addendum onto all the anonsee/storyweavingspider stuff where she strangled a woman and referred to her as "strangulation girl" and said she wanted to beat her up is that she has been banned from a queer bar for having multiple allegations of assault, and she was only banned from that queer bar after moving to DC allegedly to escape other allegations of sexual violence in her previous city. she was also literally a DEI consultant for the US Department of Defence. note that the victim user elizanomics is talking about is a completely different victim from the woman who anonsee calls "strangulation girl".

when the girlfriend of one of her victims spoke up about this on that very same tweet, anonsee's response was "well your girlfriend is racist because she said it's harder to get people to believe her because I'm a minority in a community concerned with protecting minorities that often coddles sex pests! AND she asked for it!"

in the process of grabbing these screenshots I found a post from a completely unrelated person in anonsee's local area talking about anonsee getting banned from a club the two of them were in for assaulting women:

every screenshot here has been posted by another trans woman. the linkedin is the only thing that wasn't initially posted by another trans woman, and that was because a trans woman shared it to someone else to leak for her own safety, as anonsee's previous transfeminine accusers were not believed.

so let me say it: rape is a reason to act. rape should mandate removal from communities lest rapists be a danger to those around them, given that they committed rape. rapists should lose their jobs. rapists should be removed from their sources of income. rapists, committing a violent sex crime with no possible justification other than their own entitlement to the sexual possession of another's body, are a danger to others.

if this comes across as extremist to you, consider that the defense of rapists is the global status quo, that leniency towards rapists is the global status quo, that not believing victims of rape is the global status quo, that believing rape "isn't that bad" is the global status quo, and that keeping rapists around because they're nice if you just keep them from raping and it's terrible to kick them out of the friend group or hobby or job just for a little rape is the global status quo. if you believe in those things, you are doing what a patriarchal society is already doing. you're just more sensitive because people like you are the ones on trial.

kinda weird to me how transfem trfs will say that trans men shouldn't be a position of authority on "womens issues" (usually shit like misogyny, reproductive oppression, ect) because we're not women and that trans men who talk about the individual struggles with misogyny/"womens issues" are claiming to be "more women/of an authority on womens issues than trans women", and then turn around and position themselves as an authority on trans mens issues because they clearly know better about being a trans man even though they have never lived as trans men, but have lived to an extent as cis men, which means that they know more about manhood and trans manhood than trans men....... which could mean nothing of course
