"I see, I see. You definitely got a bit turned around, it's not hard in this part of town. You'll need to go back the way you came if you don't want to have to cross some busy, and distracting, streets. We wouldn't want you getting distracted by an arcade or something, right?" Maybe he was being a bit generalizing, thinking that most underclassmen would be distracted by pretty arcade lights. "I think I have time to walk you part of the way, if you want."

"Yeah, nice to meet you too." Not that his voice would indicate that in any way at all. "And yeah, I’m really not. People bother me." The pointed jab at the girl went unsaid, but definitely left obvious.

"Maybe. Probably not. I don't go looking for surprises, I prefer to just get through things without having to do too much with people. I'm guessing you're the opposite, given how you're acting?"

"Sounds about right. If I thought there was a way to fix this, I’d jump at the chance, but short of finding out whoever caused the universe reset that Vins was manipulating and stopping them, I don’t think it’s possible. That, or breaking the universe so bad that it has no choice but to move on, but that doesn’t sound good either. I think we’re both just stuck."

"Well, I’m sure there’s a way! Once we figure it out, we’ll both be free! From out own separate curses I mean."

She nods. “All right. I’ll be around the ghost house when you do decide on that.”

"As for my situation…" No one had ever outright asked her before. Others had always just found some way to anger her and then she’d inevitably yell everything out in her rage.

"I’ll make this short. I wanted to break my looping summer by taking myself out of it. I planned for there to be one more journey after my death - one that my companions would go on without me. That way they could live their lives even after the summer was over."

"I…made a deal with Vins." It was always when they heard that name that they leapt to conclusions. "I was supposed to die, no more, no less. I’m not supposed to be here."

She gives him a wry smile. “The Creator was furious with me.”

Yuu's eyebrows knitted at the admission, mulling over Seventh's words as he considered just how to react to it. So she made a deal with the vampire lady, huh? 

Well...he supposed he couldn't really fault her. It was her call, and not for him to judge. Giving a shrug, he said, "I see, I see. I get where you're coming from, I think. I'm sure that if I was in the same situation, I'd have made the decision. Bonus points for pissing off the blonde asshat, too."

Wow, talk about a haircut. Yuu couldn't help but wonder just how long it took her to get her hair into those buns each morning. "Can I help you with something, miss?"

"Ah, that’s smart…he must have been quite the formidable foe." She has no doubts that taking on the Creator even once before had taken a lot of guts and bravery on his part.

Maybe one day she’ll try it as well, when he came to visit her again. “Congratulations, I suppose, on being able to live your life.” She’s not the least bit jealous. It was simply his luck that he was granted a fate that could be quite kind compared to the other sorts of fates that Creator liked to dole out.

"Well, my offer shall stand for as long as need be. I have plenty of time."

"Thanks, I suppose. I'll make sure to take you up on on your offer at some point, though." Some point faaar in the future, when he inevitably got sick of things like this. Still, there was at leaast one thing still picking at his mind.

"I've got to ask, though...how'd you end up in your situation? It doesn't seem like the same thing that happened to me."

"Well obviously your name, which by the way it’s nice to meet you," Hanabi said slightly tilting her head to the right, "and from the sound of it you’re not much of a people person."

Sid cracked his knuckles a bit, surveying the area. “For now anyway. C’mon..we’re going to be late for the last day of school.”

Sid threw his bookbag over his shoulder and headed back on the path to school. As they entered the gates and into the school, Sid stopped at the lockers.

"Look. I don’t know what’ll happen if both of us go to Jotaro at the same time. Who knows what sort of weird shit will happen. He’ll be suspicious." He took out a bottle of Echoes High from his bag and tossed it in Yuu’s direction.

"Good, good. That was getting to be a hassle." Yuu held out a hand, and had his bag placed in it by 1 as he proceeded to follow after Sid. Of course, he'd have to find a way to ditch him as well. He didn't want to be stuck in another loop, especially not someone else's loop. It just wasn't his problem.

"Don't worry about it, I'd say. You go meet up with him, and I'll catch up with you elsewhere." Or not at all, if he was lucky. "I wouldn't want to throws things off too much, you know? Now hurry up, you wouldn't want Jotaro to have to fight Noriaki alone, would you?" As he spoke, he shooed Sid along, waiting until the guy was out of sight to immediately leave the school grounds at top speed. "Welp, time to go home, then. What a damn pain in the neck."

Sid rolled his eyes. “Hey dummy, behind you.” he pointed to the trio of Matroshyka dolls coming crashing toward’s Yuu’s head. Sid’s shoved him off and kicked each of them with much ease, shattering them to bits.

Howlin’ Wolf bit down on the other doll’s legs keeping it trapped. It was frozen, unable to attack as it was cornered.

"Make the shot then. If you don’t Howlin’ Wolf’ll make her a new chew toy." Sid said checking his shoes for any sticking porcelain.

"Tch. No appreciation for showmanship, huh?" Yuu snapped his fingers, and 2 emptied the clip of his pistol into the doll's head, leaving it nothing more than porcelain fragments. "It's not like they could do much, anyways."

Shaking his head, Yuu glanced around, ostensibly to see if there were any more of the dolls coming. "Seems like we're in the clear, huh?"

"Not really, just wondering who you are," Hanabi said while crossing her arms, "I’m Hanabi Sawada, but my friends call me Hana."

"Yuu Matsumoto. Other than that, I'm not sure what you want me to say." Did she expect a life story or something?

Sid watched the other agents run off to set up their ambush. Sid continued to lead Yuu and the dolls near an empty parking lot where only a stain of blood and a crazy seemingly homeless man was cowering.

Sid turned around and glanced at Yuu, “I’ll keep them occupied.”

He whistled and Howlin Wolf stepped up. It howled, creating a deafening shockwave heading towards the dolls. Their skin began to crack and shatter from the booming sound.

As Howlin' Wolf let off it's attack, Yuu just sighed. He almost wondered if he could just bolt and leave this guy to his own devices, it looked like he had it covered, after all. But that would just put him on bad terms with the guy, and he didn't need that, either....He'd just have to fight, then.

"You didn't need to keep them occupied, really. The trap, per say, was the agents themselves." As he spoke, Agent 5 seemed to appear behind one of the dolls.

"Now watch as I saw this woman in half!" The female agent was talking like a wannabe magician and in the light of the sun, the razor wire wrapped around the doll was just barely visible. "Three, two, one, presto!" At the last word, 5 threw her arms wide, and the doll was shredded into pieces. With a flourishing bow, the Agent vanished, just in time for 2 to put a bullet in the back of the other doll's head without a word.

"See? They're overdoing it again, but the dolls are taken care of. Now let's go, I have places to be."

Why are so many people following him all of a sudden? Ugh...what a nuisance. 

"Hello, is there anything I can do for you?"

"You’re obviously a bit new this. I don’t understand it myself but…think of it like that movie Groundhog’s Day. Y’know when Bill Murray always wakes up on the same day and the day’s events repeat over and over again? Well imagine that but for an entire summer and when the summer is over you start at the beginning." Sid moved his hand to signal Howlin Wolf to sic it on the doll.

"Not with so many people around. To everyone else they look like normal schoolgirls. We need to get them alone." the light flashed green and he immediately started picking up his pace.

"So I've heard..." So it seems he wasn't in his timeline after all. He was in this guy's new loop, or whatever it was. Damnit. "I'll set a trap up ahead, just keep moving." As he spoke, a few of his agents ran off, obviously preparing for an ambush once they were out of sight. And as the light turned green, he followed behind Sid, rolling his eyes as he did. He'd have to get back home after this crap.

So that was what happened to him. She offers him a look of sympathy, despite how he seemed quite nonchalant about his situation. She was like that too, she supposed, with her own predicament.

"The Creator, huh…I’ll admit, I hadn’t thought of going after him. Actually, I haven’t seen him around for a while." She mirrors the shrug."Maybe I can help you somehow? I’m…also outside the time stream you see, but I’m only allowed in a handful of areas. If we were to - leave together, maybe you’ll be able to come with me to the Sanctuary."

"Maybe, but I haven't even been able to get into the weird ghost room as of yet. And honestly? I'm not really in a hurry to do it anyways. I mean, I can still live my life, even if it's a bit more annoying to live, and I'm not in any real danger, as far as I can tell. Personally, I'm just not interested in flinging myself back into a fight with the Creator just yet, but maybe later. A few months, or a year, give or take." Even if he wanted back in his own time, Yuu wasn't going to just run back into a fight he could avoid for a while longer. Cowardly? Probably, but that was just what he was gonna do.

A commission for one of Geizt's new OCs. It was nice to break out of my norm and do something different.

"More the merrier I say. Can’t have too many fists in a fight." Sid said moving his gaze to the front.

"They’ve been following us since we past the parking lot. Looks like they’re friends of the Matryoshyka dolls floating around town." The crosswalk sign turned red as they both had to stop for traffic. The two girls were picking up their pace on them.

"If they come 2 feet closer we send then flying."

"Dolls? But I thought...." He could have sworn Joey was dead. Blown up in his own mega something or other. Well, it wasn't unthinkable that he had simply swapped with another doll or something like that. It didn't really matter, either. These ones....he recognized them, and he wasn't really impressed. "Alright then. They don't look too tough." Agent 2 faded into view as 5 vanished, his gun at the ready. "Just give me the word."

"Ah…you’re one of us, then."

Another one…there were so many of them, trapped in this eternal loop. “…yes. Several times, in fact, but I don’t have to worry about that anymore. How is your journey going?”

"It ended with everyone but me, Polnareff, and the Joestars dead. Then that 'Creator' jerk in the tophat contacted me and told me that I was being punished for raising arms against him, and that the punishment was being placed outside the time stream. So now I end up in random places and times with basically no control over it." Yuu shrugged, seemingly unbothered by his circumstances. "It's a thing that happened, basically. I'm still trying to get back so I can break him in half, or at least break reality enough that it stops, but so far I've had no luck."
