'Overhyped Love'
kiss of love on city streets
it's revolutionary now
ask them,
they breathe beneath one blanket
but haven't tasted love
for a long time

That moment when you suddenly realize that it has been a decade since you first started writing. A moment of peace, bliss, introspection, memorabilia, mixed feelings...all at once. And what a decade it's been! #memorabilia #everydaybeautiful #happy10years
peeps in the city be like whoa beautiful weather and I’m like bro
Typewriter Poetry #759 by James Andrew Crosby
And so we quote and quote and quote and quote scientists and authors and painters and musicians and historians, until we are disgusted by it, and then forget we can create our own words, concepts and ideas as well.

~ Sukoon ~ Ek adhoora chaand Kuch bikhare hue badal Door se aati ek awaaz Aur hum... #bythemoonlight #insearchofthequiet #everydaybeautiful #shotoftheday #poetry
Remember the day I walked up to you to borrow something A book that was so close to your life One that you thought you couldn't be without I had asked you if I could take it You had said yes, of course... With a silent promise that it would come back, sooner or later One day, may be someday. ...
I was going through my cupboard today And found a little blue tucked in a corner, hiding behind its rivals I pulled it out nevertheless Dusted off the years from its cover And thought of you I thought of you as I held in my hands, a part of you One that I stole from you.
But what else could I do? I wanted to remember you... Forever.
Don't let them all in
Just the way you don't let everybody walk into your home
The same way don't let everybody walk into your heart
It is the same thing you know
They'll walk in with their baggage, their dirt, their filth
And ruin your heart/home and then you will have to clean up
But even then it will take a while before the stains go away
I write the most when I am hurt and the least when I am happy. That's why, He continues to hurt me. To each, his own

When quitting comes more naturally than breathing. Quit. Because if you try to breathe instead, you might lose it all anyway.

If your willingness does not come to life as naturally as the leaves on a tree, it better not come at all.

Size Matters
Today take out out time to fill in these blanks, because blanks matter
Sit down with a notepad in hand and your favourite pen
Your favourite corner in the house, your favourite chair
And one by one, ask yourself. Ask yourself because size matters
Size of your Car - Hatchback/ Sedan/ SUV: _____________________
Size of your House: 2BHK/ 3BHK/ 5BHK: ______________________
Size of your Bank Balance: Thousand/ Lakh/ Crore
And then when you are done filling the blanks, blink for ten seconds
And then fill up the final blank
Size of your Heart: XS/ S/ M/ L/ XL/ XXL/ XXL: ___________________
Evaluate the answers and conclude with which size matters the most
And which one would you like to continue to invest in
Don't ignore, ask yourself. Ask yourself because size matters
And just like that
There is so much to be thankful for
The sweet wind blowing in my face
The caring hand on the head
The hug that reassures all is well
The smile that never ends
That husky deep voice vibrating all the way till the end
The simple weave of words touching each curve, every edge
All the people, all the things
Every moment of this beauty called life
I am thankful
From the tiniest corner of my heart
And I am thankful
That I have finally earned it all
What a blessed morning.
To simple realisations and many more waiting to come by
Cheers!
They are coming for my wings...
And I thought the sky belonged to no one
And life was meant to be equal for all
Then why are they coming for my wings
I am not done yet. Are you listening.
And I thought love could conquer all battles
And swallow pain, give birth to new smiles
Then why do I feel they're eyeing my wings
I am not done yet. Are you listening.
My wings are my pride
My thoughts are my flight
Stay away. Stay away.
Are you listening.
Words from the heart... they heal
This moment
At this very moment
I want to pen a book
One that doesn't talk about love
Or romance or fairy tales
But of journeys, of loss
Of smiles and laughter; loud and quiet
I want to pen a book
That talks about things nobody talks about
Like how it’s okay to laugh out loud
When someone closest to you, leaves
Never to come back again
Laugh, because tears won’t get him back
But laughing might make him feel better, lighter
I want to pen a book
That talks about things nobody wants to believe
Like how it’s okay to talk to the dead
Have their spirit hug you and comfort you
Tell you their stories, you tell them yours
And then there is no place for tears, only smiles and words
Because words from the heart, they heal.
I want to pen a book
That talks about letting go and setting free
Like how it’s okay to say goodbye and move on
And not look back but ahead, to a new day, a new life
Not miss the ones that are gone but remember them
In good times, happier times, laughing uncontrollably times
And then, they would come back… really!
