Are you referring to this grey rectangle? I honestly hadn't noticed and grey rectangles until now.
Yes, thatâs them, or at least one form. Afaik there should also be one where a smaller grey rectangle can be seen, denoting scripts. Not quite sure how they appear on mobile though, since I rarely use the app.
Edit: Here is what I meant:
Bonus: Yummy pussy lickingâŚthat never gets old ;-)
â
I am reposting this to make folks aware, as I too, had trouble at first knowing what the malicious code issue âlookedâ like and not itâs a not the hot pussy licking above.  Please read this great post by the amazing @the-abode-of-feverish-dreams, the blogger formerly known as @morpheus-in-arms no thanks to the tumblr massacre of 2016.Â
I also have been fielding a ton of questions about what happened to me. Â How did I get my blog back? Â Was there any warning, etc? Â So I hope to compile it all here and give some good links to good references. Â This will be the last time I talk about/post something like this as I just want to put it behind me; smarter, wiser and sexier than ever. ;)
1.  I did not get any warning from tumblr when I was terminated.  I went to check my blog, was prompted to login and couldnât.  I switch to my Mac in Chrome and even after resetting the password, thinking I had been hacked or something I saw the teal screen of deathâŚthat my account was terminated.
2. Â I immediately contact Tumblr Support and got no response.
3.  I created a new blog called RedBottomKittenInHeels.  I reached out to some very good friends and they started to spread the word that KittenInLouboutins was terminated and what my new blog name wasâŚI am sure I am forgetting a few and I apologize but @loosenthetie, @yesiamyourgoddess, @sexy-is-a-state-of-mind, @sin69city, @cyranodbergerac, @babygirlssweetsurrender, @goodgirlslovegoodinnuendo were among the many that posted about what happened.
4. Â Mind Boggling within 48 hours I had over 2500 followers and so many who reached out to ask if I was ok, what happened and what could they do. Â It was wonderful and I am so grateful to everyone who reached out to me. Â It is true what one blogger said, they they didnât just shut down blogs they broke up relationships.
5.  During this time I sent several messages a day asking what was going on and I admit begging for Tumblr Support to reinstate my blog.  Finally Sunday morning, I mentioned that I knew other bloggers had gotten their blogs back, that it was due to a malicious code issue and that it was never my intent to reblog something like thatâŚand yes more begging.  That afternoon, my blog was restored *cue the Hallelujah Chorus here*
6.  By now it had become apparent what had happened and there were several posts about it which I want to reference here in one spotâŚfirst, hereâs what Tumblr did and the message from support thanks to @support-pixiv-artists, second, hereâs what the big deal was about in terms of what malicious code is and how the payload delivered thanks to @the-abode-of-feverish-dreams, third, as a reminder make sure your blog is set to Adult Content (NSFW) and this cannot be done in the mobile app, it must be done through the web interface, fourth, Iâve seen many bloggers who are unfollowing blogs with the default circle or triangle as the AVI, many spammers wonât bother to set that, so itâs just a suggestion as is looking for empty blogs, blogs that seem to only note posts and blogs that go a day of activity and then days of inactivityâŚjust behavior to be cautious and aware of that it might NOT be a person you are dealing with. Â
7. Â This has been circling around and when I see it I am reblogging it to let followers know of blogs that have been found and are missing. Consider it your virtual Milk Carton.
I apologize for the verbosity of this post but I felt it was import to consolidate this into one as I keep getting asked and quite frankly it just makes it easier for me to link this for folks to read if they are interested. Â *whew* Ok enough of that, back to the regularly scheduled porn fest. XOXO - Kitten
Also, let me addâŚon the mobile app it is impossible to see the grey boxes. However, you do see a bar below the image with a url link like thisâŚ
You can also touch the link and see where it takes you, if it is not to the image itself but a site of some kind, most likely it is malicious or at least nefarious in itâs intent.
