Notes:
Hadith: Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) declare that Allah the Exalted had said: I have divided the prayer into two halves between Me and My slave, and my slave, and My slave will receive what he asks for.
~Surah Fatiha equals the salah because without reciting surah Fatiha there is no prayer.
~Surah Fatiha can be split into two equal halves, from Alhumu to nasta’een is the first half of the surah (exactly 63 letters) and ihdinaa to daalleen is the other half (also 63 letters).
-Surah Fatiha is the core and power of the prayer.
-Rahman means abundance of mercy and Raheem means constantly merciful.
-First we praise Allah (swt) and then we talk to him directly, asking for guidance.
-Every single time we say this surah in the prayer, Allah (swt) responds back every time. So you can think that after ayah Allah(swt) is responding back to you.
