AIO for refusing to teach archery to someone that fired me?
I am an archery instructor for a club, specifically for barebow archery. Recently a person has joined a club that fired me a week into a new job in a previous role (they fired two hours within the next week, it was a shit show), this was three years ago.
I do private and public teaching sessions, the private ones come with a little fee for one on one time which goes to the club .this person signed up for one of my private sessions, which is fine, but I didn't recognize their name. I go down, recognized them, and immediately, but as politely while trying not to freak the fuck out, declined to teach them and refunded their booking. I said they would have to go to the next club, about half an hour further away since there's an instructor there that's around my level. They are kinda cracking the shits but since this isn't really official, there's not a lot they can do.

I have had managers who let me go and I had to work with them later in a professional capacity and it was no problem, because of the circumstances.
I have had others where, even though it was decades ago, ifI had a chance to fuck them over, I would do so in a heartbeat.”
