I feel like I need to weigh in, as someone who also writes the same character, who I myself know is absurdly evil and twisted. Using this as an excuse for certain behaviours is not okay. To hide behind an evil character and actually hurt people in real life is not okay, and just say "oh but my character is evil." That doesn't give you a right to make someone uncomfortable ooc. And people say oh it's dnd it's suppose to be dark. You're forgetting that even in dnd you need to ask consent and discuss certain topics with another to create a safe and comfortable space. I do this for raphael when certain things come up, with my partners I'd ask what they are comfortable with and what they aren't. It's writing and role-play, it's suppose to be fun but it becomes serious when boundaries are not respected. I'm also tired of toxic people using a villainous character as a way to excuse their own behavior in real life. There is a line that you don't cross, and especially when writing someone who is evil, you as the mun need to be more self-aware and be considerate of others.
