My friend just called me out on my self sabotaging ways and i feel weirdly loved.
For context, i already have a lot on my plate and barely have time to breathe. But for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to start a new postgraduate program. She told me i should stay focused on the plan i have already set and not start detours because of the next shiny thing. To take better care of myself, finish getting stabilized and then if i still want it apply next year.
She is so right. Soooooo right. At first i wanted to get a bit upset, but she is right. And the way she sounded legit worried about me made me feel loved and seen.

I’m in this like weird place in my head. I’m working on so much, trying to do my best.
But i still want to just throw it all away and end it. It sucks. I can achieve so much and I know but there’s things I can’t get back like love, and friends. And that’s the part that pains me. I’m so sick of trying to replace what I’ve lost.
