"You know, it’s really quite funny- I received a little letter a little while ago from my father instructing me to do just that! There is a rum cake in the oven as we speak, actually. Please, do have a seat! I’ll put the tea on.”
"Assuming of course I don’t slip something into your tea," she remarked, "I guess if you’re that desperate, I’ll stay over, just try to keep the cutesy stuff to a minimum, m’kay?"
