I was remembering how you pinged me for the rhododendron hills fic and was finding it amusing that you pinged me for that like im The Ennomai person, because ive only written 5 ennomai fics and only 1 is a longfic for them. The other four are oneshots. (This being contrasted with my akaennomai habits, in which I've got like 39 fics for em)

Idk i just found it funny

i mean i'm pretty sure you're the first person to pair ennoshita and mai together in any context so yeah you're The Ennomai person in my mind!

I am definitely not the first person to do ennomai. I picked them up because i saw funny artwork for them and there are fics that arent mine in the tag. I did not make the ennomai tag.

There are however only 13 works in the tag so I apparently did do almost half of them. But yeah i didnt actually start the tag.

I just found it amusing cuz i would Not consider myself anywhere close to The Ennomai person, mostly because i do other things so much more. Feels weird to say im the ennomai person when the last time i wrote just them two was like...early 2025.

The tag I have seen most often on this post is "I needed to hear this," and I am so, so grateful to have said something that was needed. These words came out of the depths of my own grief, and I am so grateful to have made this small connection with others in the midst of it. Grief is isolating and indescribable, but none of us are alone.

So I made the (probably poor) decision to try playing resident evil.

Facts about me: I'm scared of the nether in minecraft. I did play subnautica but I was terrified the entire time and barely survived. I'm Not Good at combat games. They're hard and scary and when I get nervous I just kind of button mash.

None of that is conducive to playing resident evil. Especially not number 4(original, not remake), which is the one I obtained first(im getting them through my local library).

I did, however, convince my brother to help. So he played for a while to get used to some of the controls and such so if i really needed help fighting something, i can tap him in.(i am unbelievably bad at fighting. Or, to phrase it differently, unbelievably good at dying repeatedly.)

All this to say: I played for like 40 min to an hour, and got....to the village. The first time. I've died like 10 times. My brother died to the same area 1 time.

If you want to experience what it's like to be in the room with me as I play, look up a video of a guinea pig squeaking. There you go. Perfect match.
