sometimes I wonder if people like this even understand the difference between creating something with AI vs making something yourself. Like, it's when you are getting your grandma a gift for Christmas, you can either buy her an ornament she or anyone can buy themself or make her a hand-made, one-of-a-kind ornament out of paper and glitter and love. Which one do you think she'll like more? The hand-made one may not look as nice but the fact that you took the time to make it just for her makes it so much more special. It's not about the product, it's about the thought and effort put into it.

OK IDK IF YOUâRE SUPRISED WITH LANCE BEING NUMBER 1 BUT HEAR ME OUT! I think Lance would be the best hugger BECAUSE his hugs feel like home. We know that he has a big family so I like to think that hes done a lot of hugging and comforting with his cousins and siblings, making him an expert at them! He definitely squeezes people when he hugs them, he just loves giving them!
Plus he doesnât make them weird! They instantly feel natural and not forced, like Pidge and Keithâs are. You could just go up to Lance and randomly hug him and he wouldnât even question you, bro would just go with the flow and I love him for that. Yeah his hugs feel like home, he makes you feel included in what feels like small secrets.
Hunk
Next Hunk! I was seriously debating hard about who should be #1 in this list, but I ended up putting homeboy second. Hunk is an automatically emotional and caring person, so imagine that registered into hugs?? Bro gives the biggest yet softest hugs EVER. Same with Lance, hugging him doesnât feel weird whatsoever, heâs just trying to comfort you!
His hugs feel like a blanket, protecting and comforting. Did that make sense?? He would definitely be the type to pick you up and swing you around in a hug though! Hunk finds hugging to be a really stress relieving thing so be sure to give him one if he looks like he needs one!
Shiro
SHIRRROOOO WOOOO!!! A solid third place, pretty good if I say so myself. I think with Shiro, his hugs are very grounding. He would usually only hug people if they really REALLY need it. But despite how sparse his hugs are, he makes them all worth it. If you ever have a serious conversation with him, just know that he will always hug you in the end, not only to comfort you but to also thank you for trusting him with your secrets and feelings.
His hugs arenât too tight or too loose, it feels like heâs actually like really holding you. HEAR ME OUT ITS HARD TO PUT IT INTO WORDS! BUT!! You feel seen with his hugs, he actually sees you and hears you, and Shiro is willing to protect the person deep down inside you. His hugs feel like a shield, ready to comfort and provide a safe space for you.
Allura
I love Allura so much omg. I placed her kinda low because I feel like she doesnât give hugs often at all. Like you would have to go to her yourself and just ask, which she will question you. But if you look like you really need one, she will give you the WARMEST hug ever. Alluraâs hugs are delicate in a way. She would hold someone as if they were fragile, being light with her touch because she doesnât want to accidentally make you uncomfortable.
But despite that, her hugs bring a lot of comfort, they make you feel as if everything is going to be alright. Hugs make Allura feel vulnerable so be prepared for long hugs. She hugs you but just know that she needs that same amount of comfort too. Her hugs feel like finding inner peace, all your nerves instantly settle when she pulls you in her embrace.
Pidge
I feel like Pidge is a somewhat closed off person. I think weâve seen that Pidge can be an emotional person, but when it comes to physical touch, she doesnât really think twice about it. Like Allura, you would have to ask her for a hug if you really wanted one. And when you do she might feel a little awkward giving you oneđđI think sheâs really used to only giving her family hugs so giving hugs to friends and you may put her off a little. But after the first few hugs, Pidge would definitely grow to enjoy your hugs!
I feel like sheâs the type to rub your back, maybe even rock you guys side to side since she canât keep still for too long. She might tell a joke while you hug too hehe. Her hugs feel like hugging an old friend, making sure to let you know how much those moments mean to her when you guys have a hugging session.
Keith
Rock bottom, he was an easy decision to make, at least for me. As much as I love Keith, I just KNOW he would be pretty reluctant in giving hugs. Heâs not at all used to touching other people like that, he views it as something pretty intimate. So when he finally gives you a hug after some time, heâs pretty nervous, so bro is like really rigid and awkward when hugging you. It would take some time for him to finally loosen up, heâs just so tense.
Keith saves his hugs for people heâs close with. Hugging is Keithâs way of saying âhey I care about you!â He rarely gives hugs though unless he feels the need to. Heâs also the type to like rub your back while hugging, itâs something he doesnât realize he does. It feels weird hugging him at first since he isnât used to being so close to someone, but he learns to just appreciate the small moment. His hugs feel like summer nights, theyâre really refreshing and hugging him is like a new experience everytime.

I love yandere Madeleine because he has so many possibilities.
He could be delusional, lucid, the beautiful sweet spot in between.
He can be sweet and caring, wanting to protect his darling from the world, willing to do anything to keep them safe! Heâs the only one who can keep them safe, itâs his duty.
He can be dark and unpredictable, wanting to simply have his darling, willing to do anything to keep his darling from running away. Heâs the only one whoâs good enough to have them, itâs his right.
He can be so much all at once and I love him for it.
Regardless of what he can be, he is always very physically affectionate. Itâs his main love language, aside from buying gifts and words of affirmation.
If he can trust his darling wonât run, he loves to parade them around. Heâs incredibly proud of his love, allow him to show them off!!
If itâs dark yandeleine heâs not above torture to punish his darling.
If itâs soft yandeleine heâll just put them in time out, so either locking them in their room or even a closet or something. He canât stay away from them for very long, but heâll hold out for as long as he must!
If his darling were to fight against him heâd get sad. Do they really hate him that much??
Heâs the type to gently hold his darling and rock them side to side while giving comforting words and shushing them to try and soothe them.
The kind to apologize but doesnât mean it, the apology always feels empty, he more says it on reflex, as if itâll make the situation better.
Just wants to hold his darling whenever he can. He knows heâll probably be sent on a mission again soon so he wants to spend as much time as absolutely possible with them.
Loves eating with his darling, it just makes him happy to watch them enjoy a good meal.
Wildberry
Sees literally nothing wrong with killing someone because they talked to his darling like, it takes a little bit for him to get there but if he feels like his love is being threatened, another tally mark is added to the kill count.
Heâs not the most affectionate, his love is shown through him getting things he knows his darling likes, doing small things for them but most of all is spending time together.
He doesnât care what they do together as long as itâs together. Hell they could just be sitting in silence and stare at each other and heâd be pretty satisfied with that.
His yandere behaviour is actually reinforced a lot by Hollyberry. Sheâs all like: âoh you killed someone for your love? Good job! Tell me the story as I help you hide the body!â So uhm, it runs in the family. Congratulations! If he gets his darling home, theyâre fucking screwed.
Hollyberry wants grandchildren. She doesnât give a fuck how you get kids, she wants more grandchildren. Give her grandchildren!!!!
Wildberry would not understand if his darling was scared of him, like at all. He sees nothing wrong with what heâs done or what heâs willing to do. He really is just like ???? Yeah, I killed that person why are you freaking out? I wouldnât do that to you so stop screaming??? Please?????
Poor boy is so lost, he just wanted to have his love, he never knew his actions would have consequences.
The way he kidnaps his darling is literally through brute force. There is nothing silent about it, he will just grab his darling and drag them off. His darling gets to choose if itâs done the easy way or the hard way.
Easy way: his darling goes with him and they can do this quietly and efficiently.
Hard way: he takes his darling, kicking and screaming and he can either knock them out or tie them down on the way home.
Either way, heâs getting what he wants.
Clotted Cream
Clotted Cream is a very powerful person, he has reach over the entire city. There isnât a single place his darling could hide.
Heâs very manipulative, itâs incredibly hard to not get swept up by his words.
Heâd never physically harm his darling, he hates shouting, and heâd never berate his darling for not loving him. He wants to be nothing like his father.
Instead heâd be patient, calm, kind. He wouldnât give his darling much reason to fight him. If he absolutely must, heâd restrain his darling, but donât worry! He hates it just as much as they do. Other times heâll put them in time out, and he always makes sure they have everything they may need.
He makes sure that his darling knows nothing about the outside world. He wants to keep them as out of the loop as absolutely possible, it would just upset them to hear about the news. Especially regarding themselves.
Speaking of Financier. His darling wouldnât get any help from her. If they managed escaping their room and they run into Financier theyâre screwed. They ask her for help and she simply responds with. âWe need to get you back to your room.â And starts herding them back where they came. They could beg, cry, fight, scream, they could do anything. It wouldnât stop Financier from filling out her orders.
She is loyal to Clotted Cream first and she trusts him completely, just like how he trusts her. Sheâs actually glad he has so much faith in her, to look after his love while his hands are full balancing his fathers demands, the council, and the Republic.
His father wouldnât care much about Clotted Creams darling, as long as it doesnât get out to the public. In all honesty he might see it as an opportunity to further control his son.
So his darling wonât be getting any help at all in that house.

It was a rainy night and your parents were out so you wound up hanging out in the sewers with the gang. You were all sitting in a circle laughing playing some simple party games, like two truths and one lie. You all knew what each others boundaries are and trusted each other not to cross them. So everything was always in lighthearted fun.
âOkay, okay, my turn, uhmmmm,â Mikey tapped a finger on his chin as he looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully. âOkay! I have never tried abstract art, I completed a lazar flip first try, and I have been training in the secret art of Mario Kart since I was seven.â He smiles at everyone, confident heâs going to win the round.
Leo scoffs. âLazar flip obviously. Thatâs the hardest trick to do! No one can get it first try.â He waves his hand around nonchalantly before fishing around in the potato chip bowl.
Mikey shakes his head. âNope! Thatâs a truth, Donnie was there for it!â
He points at his older brother who looks up from his screen at the mention of his name. âHm? Oh, yes. I can confirm, Micheal got it first try.â
Leo looks at Mikey in astonishment and Raph hums. âIs it abstract art?â Mikey claps his hands and nods enthusiastically.
âDing! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ladies and gentlemen! We have a winner!!â
âReally? I thought youâve tried every single art style out there?â
Mikey shakes his head. âNope! I just donât really get it, it doesnât really speak to me like most art does.â He shrugs his shoulders, a lopsided grin on his face as he turns to you. âYour turn!â You blink on surprise and hug the pillow in your lap closer.
âOh, uhm. Okay. Lets see. I love roasted anchovies and bananas on pizza.â You in fact hate it and everyone knows that. You tried it once after being triple Mad Dog dared and couldnât finish a single bite, spitting it out immediately. âSplinters hugs are the best andâŠâ you hesitate a second, nervous about what you were going to say next. Some small voice asked a whole bunch of âwhat ifâsâ even when you know the answers to them. They wonât turn you away. âAnd Iâm trans.â You finish your sentence and press your mouth into a thin line, waiting for their reaction.
They all look at you in surprise. Donnie had put down his screen, Leo stopped mid chew. They were all caught off guard. Raph was the first to break the silence. âOkay, cool! Have you figured out a new name or do you not want one?â
You shake your head. âI havenât figured one out yet.â Everyone immediately lights up.
âOoooo! Can we help? Please??â April asks her hands clasped together tightly, a large smile on her face.
âSure, Iâd appreciate it!â The chaos and laughter is back, everyone is spitballing names, cracking jokes, itâs great. You all continue talking late into the night. Even though you already knew theyâd accept you, itâs really nice to hear it, to hear the support.
You fall asleep with a smile on your face, feeling safe. You have their backs, and they have yours. You couldnât ever want for a better group of friends, because the one you have now is the best around.
This is the general story idea and character basics. Iâll build on this more as I go. Thinking of naming it Give Me Space and will mostly focus on April. Of course I will focus on the turtle brothers and splinter and everyone else as well. Donât worry.
This is pretty long, I was gonna add more because of Baron Draxum and Big Mama but I didnât want to make such a ginormous post. Sorry.

Story idea: The brothers live on their ship travelling around space just living their life. They stay planet side more than they travel through space. Recently theyâve gotten into trouble with a few other aliens but most notably Big Mama and Baron Draxum. Now they need to figure out how to live while being wrapped up in a huge net of danger.
So humans, this is a space au with humans are weird themes because itâs just good for plot, humour and a ton of other stuff! Side glances my angst. So how are humans treated in this world? They still arenât technically an official species under the councils eyes yet so that leads to humans not always being seen as people. I donât know how much Iâll touch on that subject in the story, I mostly wanna get the world building and stuff up first. Humans are a generally new species, especially to the further reaches of the universe. Not much is known about them except some of the basics. Most of them speak a language called English. They have an omnivorous diet although some choose to live a more herbivore life. They are historically persistence predators, chasing after their prey at a sustained pace to best conserve energy. They are very tough. They can bleed and are therefore, killable. Humans arenât seen much outside of their own galaxy and are therefore usually a huge attraction.
APRIL OâNEIL! The one. The only. The short Queen. Can you tell I love her? In this sheâs still the same age in the tv show but sheâs a pilot in training. On a practice mission gone wrong April gets lost and crash lands on an alien planet. Eventually she finds an beat up looking ship thatâs way to old to not be abandoned and decides to hole up in there. Only to find a rat looking alien staring at her in shock when she wakes up from a much needed nap.
Splinter, the man. The dude. The depresso espresso machine. This guys is still a human and an actor in the beginning, I canât take that from him itâs a huge part of who he is. My thought is that he gets abducted by Big Mama and put in the Battle Nexus. The whole thing with Baron Draxum goes down and Splinter makes off with the turtles. He finds an old abandoned ship and decides to live there until he can find a better living arrangement. Spoiler alert. He doesnât. The boys and him fix it up until itâs safe a flight worthy. So now his life is pretty Rinse and Repeat until he finds a Human sleeping in his hallway and doesnât know if he should give them some warm food and a blanket or panic and call his sons.
Raph. The oldest of them all. The ancient fossil. Yes Iâm making âhaha oldâ jokes at a cartoon character. Literally nothing changes with him, with all the turtles tbh. As a kid he spent most of his time going out to find stuff to fix the ship but never went far enough that he would lose sight of the ship. So most of the stuff he got was branches and leaves. He also took care of his younger siblings the most and knows whatâs dangerous and whatâs not in terms of local flora and fauna. He didnât read a book on it itâs just mostly from experience and watching the other animals. In the beginning, Raph is the most concerned with the humans well being when he first finds them in the hallway. It cannot be comfy to sleep there.
Leo, the smug man. The anything-but-straight disaster, the one that resonates with my very soul. Yes heâs still a theatre kid, of course he is. I think heâs got a little more sleight of hand skills though. Everyone in here is a little more morally grey. The boys kinda had to steal to be able to make money and get supplies to, ya know, live. Leo just became the best at it, his moral compass when it comes to that stuff is the most broken. When Leo first meets the human heâs actually scared of them. The human yells at him for getting to close and he screams. Donnie never lets him live it down.
Donnie, the neurodivergent dude. I love this man so much, itâs unreal. Sadly I donât have much for him yet. But, he makes a translator for the humans English. He gets it to work by recording the human while standing near them, theyâll just shout and yell and heâll just stand there until he has enough English to work with. Unsurprisingly, most of the words he gets are swears, detailed threats, go away, leave me alone and *insert guttural screaming.* Itâs actually kind of funny.
Mikey, is still Mikey. Heâs the ADHD, acrobatic, artist that we all know and love. Damn thatâs some alliteration right there. When Mikey first got into art it was when he found some old spray paint cans that were abandoned in the area. After that he started experimenting. Over the years he got the proper equipment he would need, such as a gas mask, ladder to reach the higher places, etc. Him with a gas mask is actually kinda scary. He was wearing it inside the ship when he met the juman sadly and now they donât like him. Even with the gas mask off. However the two find common grounds over drawing and food. So thatâs good!
Okay, if I started to write about a ROTTMNT space Au but with the humans are space orcs vibe how would yâall feel about that? Because Iâve got the bare minimum of an idea for a story right now and Iâd love to grow on it with you guys.

Iâm honestly surprised sheâs not at the top but she doesnât bite often even if she is absolutely feral.
Bites when fighting often and draws blood. Does not fucking hesitate. Bites as a warning.

Leo
Yes of course heâs on this list. Heâs got petty vibes. Bites when heâs annoyed more than anything.
One time Raph tried to grab him to apologize after annoying Leo a little too much and Leo bit him. The interaction went something like this:
âWait Leo- hold on, Iâm so- DID YOU JUST BITE ME??â
âYES, YES I DID.â
Has never drawn blood but brags he has before.
Mikey
Of course this guy bites. Itâs only affectionate though.
Bites very gently. One time he bit Raph on his shell when they were younger a little too hard and chipped his tooth.
Will occasionally bite playfully.
Splinter
Only bites when sick.
The only other times heâs biten other people is when he was in the battle nexus to get out of tight situations. He never liked to âstoop that lowâ
Heck yeah! Because you didnât specify who or what the relationship is, ima just do general headcannon style (with some small blurbs) with the main boys and romantic if thatâs okay! I wanted to try my hand at romantic for a bit, of course mikey is platonic!
Tw: female anatomy but I did my best to make the reader as gender neutral as possible, talk of periods, blood, menstrual pain, nausea, vomiting the works.
General
Im going to say it here and now: Splinter did not teach his sons about periods or anything like that. However April did explain everything to them before they met you so they actually understand quite a bit. They listened to April very intently because it means theyâd be able to help her in the future with anything she might need or want.
So if you come to the sewers looking uncomfy or in pain, Mikey has the most awesomest chocolate in the world hand made by the one and only, Leo is in the kitchen making tea for you, Raph has plenty of pain pills and gravol to share and Donnie has blankets and heating pads!
Even though they understand the pain youâre feeling theyâre still goofballs so theyâll pretend to be you while on your period sometimes and itâll become a âwho can make the best zombie impressionâ contest. Itâs still great fun though.
Leo
Iâm going to say heâs very sweet when youâre on your period, if youâre ever sore or in pain or just in general uncomfortable heâs always willing to help you out.
Has stolen menstrual health products for you and will do it again.
His favourite thing to do with you while your on your period is turn on the TV and cuddle while marathoning movies together. Sweet, salty, spicy and savoury overpriced snacks surround the two of you as you watch the movies together. Itâs nice.
You sit cuddled up against Leoâs plastron while playing with the tails of his bandana. Leo currently has his arms wrapped around you as he slowly works through a small knot in your back. Another wave of pain hits you and you shudder in Leoâs arms. âLeo.â You whine out and he kisses your temple while moving the blankets around a bit to better cover the two of you. âI know, I know. It hurts, but itâll be okay. Itâs just a little longer.â You whine a little more before nodding and settling back down. Leo gives you another kiss as he squeezes you in a gentle hug and then starting to work more on the knot he was earlier. Just a few more minutes before the pain meds kick in. Then youâll be able to eat all the junk food you want and marathon movies with Leo.
Raph
This man has all the pain meds you might need. Advil? Check. Tylenol? Yep. AleveïżŒ? What does he look like, a chump? And of course he also has Gravol for any nausea you might have.
Speaking of Gravol you tend to need it, a lot. Itâs not something heâs upset about though. Heâs the oldest brother to three other children in a sewer pipe, when they were younger theyâd get into all kinds of crap that would make them sick. So itâs okay, just let Raph comfort you.
When youâre not nauseous and having to live with a bucket in between your hands, the two of you pretty much continue on as business as normal. While you still take it easy (because Raph refuses to let you push yourself to far) you still do some light workouts and stretching with him and the boys.
(Warning!! I know I already mentioned vomiting and nausea but this is where itâs ramped up! There is some description, but not much.)
You sat on Raphs bed with a blanket around your shoulders. He had quickly cleaned his room before you walked in which was really sweet but you couldnât care less while you were puking your brains out. You swallowed as another wave of nausea rolled over you, trying not to lose whatever food you had left in your stomach before giving up. You gagged as you vomited into the bucket and looked at what was inside. Eggs from breakfast andâŠ. âCarrots, why is there always carrots?â You mumble out loud as Raph rubs your back in a soothing motion as he hands you your water bottle. After rinsing your mouth of whatever bile was left in there you settle back against Raphs side. Raph puts an arm around you shoulders. âYou gonna be okay?â You nod your head as you lean into him, a grounding and solid weight you can rely on whenever you want. Donnie
Donnie understands your pain, at least a little. Heâs had really bad stomach cramps and has just felt overall really bad. But Yâknow whatâs always helped him? Coffee, heated, weighted and normal blankets and video games. Itâs to do with something something rest something something donât worry about anything.
If you come over looking like and even feeling like death, heâll set you up with a nice cuppa Joe (coffee) if you want and your choice of heated and weighted blankets. Then heâll hand you a controller and join you for a game of your choosing. Itâs quiet and heâs not the most physically affectionate but itâs more the silent âIâm here, donât worryâ message when he passes you the blankets.
Will get you anything you want. Literally anything. Remember how splinter wanted some extinct robin eggs or something like that and S.H.E.L.D.O.N. Got him DINO EGGS OF ALL THINGS??? Yeah, he can and will get you anything. So if you want some super fancy croissant? Heâll go to Paris and steal get one from the greatest pastry chef in France. Or you want some kind of cheese that was only available a long time ago? Hold on one second, heâll send Sheldon out for you.
You sat comfortably on a separate gaming chair next to Donnie, both of you sipping on coffee while playing Stardew Valley (I play Stardew and itâs really comforting, if you donât like it you can imagine something else) together. You were trying to get the perfection ending by the end of year two, which was a challenge but still nice. Of course Donnie figured out a schedule and a chart to be as efficient as possible, however with things like weather being random it became more of a guideline than anything. âDamn it.â You hiss out as you lost the fishing mini game. âYouâll get it next time.â Donnie reassures you and you look at him. âRight, like when you said that the last three times.â Donnie raises his eyebrows. âScoff.â Is his only reply. âSnort.â You playfully retort back and the both of you smile as you continue playing together, enjoying the music of the video game.
Mikey (platonic)
This dude is so ready to help you feel better ASAP. Prepare for Dr. Feelings, Dr. Positive and even Dr. Delicate Touch if you need a swift kick in the butt. But youâre most likely just gonna be cooking in the kitchen with Mikey. You two are gonna make the greatest pizza in the entire world!
After pizza you two play some slightly competitive video games. Itâs loads of fun with lighthearted banter and trash talk. Of course thereâs some playful wrestling involved! You totally donât steal his remote before he can reach the finish line in Mario kart
All in all, spending time with Mikey while on your period is mostly just him trying to cheer you up and help distract you from how uncomfortable your period is. Youâre his best friend and he hates seeing you in any type of pain, so heâs going to do his absolute darnedest to help you out as much as possible!
You sat on a beanbag in front of the large tv next to Mikey, the upbeat and fast paced music of the racing video game keeping you focused on beating the other to the finish line. âOh, you are going down!â You scoff as Mikey clicks away at his controller furiously. âYeah right! We both know Iâm the reigning champ!! And as always. Eat. My. Dust.â You say with a finality that is punctuated with your ultimate move. A big, fat âYOU LOSE!!â Screen flashes across Mikeyâs half of the game and you let out a victory whoop. âNoooooooooo! My victory! My high score! My win streak!! Stolen from me by my one and only friend!â Mikey says with a theatrical air while dramatically sinking to the ground in mock despair. âWhat will I do now? How shall I live on?â You wheeze after holding back your snorts and snickers and burst into full laughter. Mikey joins you rolling on the floor and clutching his sides. After both of you calm down you purse your lips before looking at Mikey. âWanna go for round two?â Mikey gives you a devilish smile telling you he wonât let his win streak go so easily. âYouâre on!!â
Wow, much longer than I expected! They all arenât balanced, especially in terms of quality I think. I tried to make it more balanced though between the four of them. Lemme know whatâcha think! I absolutely loved writing this by the way, it was quite comforting. Periods really suck so I hope this might comfort anyone dealing with that stuff! I wanted to get a bit of all the different sides of a period but I didnât really get to sadly. And Iâm gonna stop there because if I donât Iâm gonna go into a big long spiel about periods and no one wants to hear or read that! Anyways hope you enjoyed and that this is what you wanted!!

An inability to gauge how much time had passed, was left, a task would take. An inability to hold dates in my head, because time didnât feel consistent or even real.

In a conversation across the room shattering an idea I was trying to hold. Itâs hard to think when youâre already thinking about everything around you.Â
