Reita: Okay, can we go to Dark Side now? – You like those, don’t you?
Aoi: What, Dark Side stories?
Reita: Not really? (laughs)
Aoi: Well like, that’s just something you guys made up, isn’t it?
Reita: “You guys”? It was Ruki!
Reita: Yeah, he’s like, “I wanna hear some dark stuff”
Aoi: Oh okay – yeah he likes that kinda stuff doesn’t he
Reita: He’s always saying “That’s dark.” (laughs) Okay, anyway, let’s go. “Ring-name, I make my zoni with white miso……Reita-san, Aoi-san, good evening.”
Reita: Please evaluate whether this is my Dark Side. If I have free time, I’m listening to rajigaze. First thing when I wake up in the morning and I’m doing my makeup, I’m listening to rajigaze. In the evening when I’m making dinner, I’m unwinding to rajigaze. When I get out of the bath, I relax listening to rajigaze. Hearing all your voices gives me power and heals me. I kinda feel like a loser listening to the same thing over and over and laughing at all the same parts.”
Reita: I want to hear your voices every day. In fact, if I can’t listen to rajigaze, I can’t be happy! Reita-san, Aoi-san, is this my Dark Side?” ……….okay this was definitely one of the lighter ones
Aoi: I don’t think it’s Dark at all!
Reita: So they listen when they wake up…they listen after work…they listen after their bath…..that means they’re listening to reruns over and over, right?
Aoi: How do they not get tired of that!?
Reita: Right!? You would get tired! …btw do u listen to anything when u wake up in the morning?
Aoi: It would probably annoy me.
Reita: So you don’t listen to music or anything in the morning?
Reita: Same. What about after ur bath?
Aoi: I don’t really listen to music.
Reita: Ahh….so when do you listen to music?
Aoi: When I’m working, like answering messages and stuff.
Reita: Ahh, I see, kinda like BGM?
Aoi: Yeah yeah…so when I’m like, ‘I think I’ll get to [answering emails etc] today’…I listen to the radio and stuff.
Aoi: Of course, of course.
Reita: So when you’re at home, what are you listening to the radio on?
Aoi: Well…you know, there’s all kinds of things
Reita: Ah…also like, when you’re listening to the radio, don’t you think everyone’s so good at it?
Aoi: They are! They’re so good!
Aoi: They’re so good…I mean, we’re not like moderators or anything, so it’s not really the same thing
Reita: We’re just one of the other million indies shows (laughs)
Aoi: But not only are they good at it, their voices sound good.
Reita: Right! They’re so clear and easy to listen to…but with us it’s so hard to understand what we’re saying (laughs) (THANK U)
Aoi: Yeah when we start having too much fun we start messing up our words n stuff
Aoi: Especially me…I wanna stop doing that.
Reita: (laughing) You wanna stop
Aoi: Yeah, cause everyone on the radio is so cool, like, (in deep voice) “Hai~”
Reita: Me too like, when I listen to other radio shows, I’m like…damn rajigaze is a shit show
Reita: We’re just such…what’s the word…amateurs, aren’t we.
Reita: But I mean it’s not our fault! We just don’t know!
Reita: But you used to do it by yourself a long time ago right? I did it too. How was it when you did it then?
Aoi: I mean I did it but I was still young back then, right.
Reita: Yeah totally…how old were you? It was quite a while ago wasn’t it? Like more than 5 years ago?
Reita: When you’re young…you’re better at talking.
Reita: I wonder why it gets harder to talk when you get older?
Aoi: Well yeah, it’s the talking thing…but also you just can’t be bothered to go in [to record it].
Aoi: Recently, you know? I’m getting old…
Reita: Yeah…and we gotta do this in the morning, you know.
Reita: We record this super early, you know, today our manager came to pick me up at 9:45 – in the morning.
Reita: I was like ‘oh, I see.’
Aoi: Yeah, I got a phone call like, I’m here.
Reita: Oh really? And you went right out? You’re super fast!
Aoi: Yeah, well I got dressed quickly and went out.
Reita: Ah……if that was Uruha, he would hang up and get in the shower.
Aoi: You’re probably right.
Reita: Kai-kun comes out pretty quickly…
Reita: And Ruki…it doesn’t matter what time it is, he’s not ready.
Reita: Those two have like no concept of time.
