National Voter Registration Day is Sept. 24
It’s a single, coordinated day when THOUSANDS of nonprofits across the country join corporations like Tumblr, Google, EBay, MTV and more to raise awareness of and hold events to register as many eligible voters as possible! But you can’t vote if you’re not #VoteReady – which means: go get registered! This year, we’re aiming for over 250k registrations and with your help we know we can make it. How can you help:
First, take TWO minutes to make sure you’re registered by going to nationalvoterregistrationday.org/register OR see if you there are voter registration events in your neighborhood.
Second, spread the word on social media using the official hashtags #NationalVoterRegistrationDay and #VoteReady. Need some help? We have some sample posts you can use here and here.

Phillip Carlyle’s ringmaster coat transforming into a different style via the magic of dance
It’s supposed to signify a different day I believe. With seeing how Phillip fulfills his new role.
While transitions like these are frequently used to signify subtle time skips, and it was a possibility I considered myself, I don’t believe that’s the case in this situation. We have one point of reference which would question this time-skip theory, and that’s PT himself.

Prior to Phillip’s entry to the ring, PT gives his hat (i.e. his control and starring role in the circus) over to Phillip in a symbolic relinquishing of power. This allows Phillip to take the role of Ringmaster and cement his place in the circus, while also concluding PT’s character arc where he comes to realise he desires to be with his family rather than in the spotlight.
So if this were a timeskip, there would be no logical reason for PT to still be dressed in his ringmaster’s outfit after Phillip’s transition. Additionally, PT’s actions (watching Phillip/the performance and checking his watch) implies this is an ongoing uninterrupted scene. [Fig. 2 & 3]

My theory is that rather than a timeskip, the coat-transition represents Phillip’s rise to the role of Ringmaster; this would explain why his coat undergoes the transformation it does.
The new jacket loses the tail and becomes more fitted, which immediately creates a clear contrast between the two coat-styles. Phillip’s previous coat was essentially an exact copy of PT’s, just without all the embellishment and literal ‘flare’ for the dramatic. [Fig 1]
This new jacket better suits Phillip’s style and makes a clear separation between himself and PT. However, what the new jacket gains is the iconic gold braiding down the front and the sleeve details, which is no doubt a nod to PT’s own ringmaster’s costume and perhaps most representational of the Ringmaster coat-design. [Fig 4 & 5]

I just watched “The Greatest Showman” again and can I just say that Zendaya is always pretty but in that movie she is particularly pretty 😍
