A little cheat? (/She asked curiously, taking the phone into two fingers and just tilting it a bit so she can lean in and see the screen. Observing her picture for only a mere few seconds she nodded and leaned back, letting go and smiling) Yeah that’s fine, I’m not really careful about how I look in pictures. (/Amber said with a slight natural smile)

Most artists can draw while the subject is moving...well I can't do that so I take pictures. That's my cheat. *chuckles softly, sitting on a bench and taking out her sketchpad and pencil* I'm sorry if I'm a bit random and weird.... *lets out another small chuckle as she starts to sketch a few lines, following the picture of you that she just took*

Of course! I'll show it to you when it's done. Although I may have a little cheat... *pulls out her phone and takes a random picture of you, making sure that it's a decent photo* I take pictures of my subjects so I can talk to them normally as I draw. *shows you the picture* Do you think this is okay? The picture, I mean. Or do you want to take another one?

(/Shrugs and chews on the inside of her bottom lip, still thinking to herself that everyone she followed was pretty good looking. She paused and got a little confused) Huh?

Jiyeon likes to play it cool, but when it comes to art, she gives it her hundred percent. Art, for her, isn’t just a course that she’s taking up in the university, or some subject that she has to do well in. It’s an outlet, it’s her way of life — it is a medium for her own self expression. Through her artworks, one will get a glimpse of Jiyeon’s mind, a glimpse of what her thoughts are during the day. She might not talk a lot, except if she is with her small circle of friends, but she doesn’t need to do a lot of talking, because her art does that for her. She is a self-described weirdo (as all the artists her age are, in her opinion), she prefers comfort over trend, and at 18 years of age, she learns how to live on her own…except that she doesn’t, because she lives with her older brother (whom she fondly calls Hyung and in her story, will remain unnamed). Even if her friends label her as “an interesting person", Jiyeon thinks that she is far from interesting, but of course, that’s just her ego playing the leader role. And with art comes travel, and Jiyeon likes that a lot, but she has to be brought by her brother around town since she’s not yet of age to obtain her own (official) driver’s license. Traveling helps with the artistic inspiration, and Jiyeon needs that in school, as well as in her real life.

Jiyeon looks around with a sketchpad on her hand, a pencil on the other, looking for her next subject. She hovers onto the side of the bench, looking thoroughly through the crowd, and then she spots you and smiles brightly to herself. She approaches you, with the same smile on her face, and says, "Hello, there! Would you mind if I draw a quick sketch of your face? I promise it won't take long," and as she awaits your reply, Jiyeon adds, "It's for class."

The sketch is finished and she shows it to you, again, with that same smile on her face. "Did I do okay, do you think I'll pass?" and as her encounter with you ends, she bows politely and wishes you to have brighter days ahead.
