Portal Ford is such an interesting point in his life because of how much we truly don't know about it.

Of course we know things about certain dimensions he traveled, how it started, certain people he met, all before it led to his arrival back to Gravity Falls.

But just like how the Book of Bill gave way more information between the connection Bill and Ford had (and even more information as to how Bill tormented him), a part of me wants something more for his portal adventures.

Because even though we can all agree that he came out a worse man by it, I feel like we truly don't know just how worse he got during his time between dimensions.

Finally dragged myself to actually post something again and it just happened to be these two. Also I changed Stanley design for what feels like the third time (it's literally just his hair).

I have no idea when I'll post again or if I'll have the motivation for it but I'll sure as hell try!

ok maybe this is me misreading stuff that the fandom does or says (as I have before) BUT, I feel like people label the narrator as "haha angry old man" when actually forgetting WHEN and WHY he gets angry in the game

Like if I see a fic or fanart, sometimes people depict the narrator as overly grouchy? And ofc he IS in the game, but the only real reason he is angry is because the player is disobeying him and going off track, its like agreeing to come over to someone's house tour and not paying attention to what the home owner is saying and just walking away mid conversation and tour, does this make sense? I just feel like people forget that Narrator actually has a justified reason for being angry at the player in the game, tbh he actually seems very calm and patient if we're not going off track etc (this may seem obvious but hopefully you get what im trying to say) like in the demo, or even in tbe original game, hes calm and collected, maybe not as cheerful as he would most usually be in say, Ultra Deluxe, but still has control over his emotions and is able to be relaxed

And like. In the original game he makes jokes/gags whatever u wanna call it, like the out of bounds ending, he has SO much to his personality that I want people to look into more if they're interested, especially for 2013 narrator, 2013 narrator isn't just "angry and mean" narrator and 2022 narrator isn't just "goofy silly" narrator, they're both the same person but its just in Ultra Deluxe theres less endings to go off track on so thats why we don't see narrator as angry in that game, its more like just following a tour, and listening, seeing the new content, but in the original game you have many more choices on how to disobey the narrator, which is why you'll see his bad side

ok sory for da long rant but I kinda just wanted to get this out, and absolutely no hate or bashing on my end to people who have more "angry/rude" narrators, I love all ur designs and interpretations, this is just how I view smth from.the fandom to canon sjjsjsjs

i am so glad we moved on from the basic characterizations of "angry old man" and "silly little guy" because those really were of their era 😭

again, I don't like BillFord but the fanart I see for this ship or just them in general is absolutely insane, so ideas started popping into my head and suddenly these came into existence.

So I think I finally got Illi down enough to be comfortable drawing her without a reference so to celebrate I drew her with Warren (or frank because I don't know)

The posing for Illi on top was actually so fun to draw and for once didn't make me want to tear my hair out, bur that could be just because it's her and I can't ever feel negative towards her.

Okay let me be a fan boy for a second. I absolutely adore season 1 Viktor (and from a design perspective season 2 Viktor too but that's a conversation for another day). To me, this is the best version of Viktor we got, LoL second, and season 2 third.

The moment I saw him, heard the cadence of his voice and speak, the way he dominated the screen with his presence. I was hooked. And then I learned more about his lore through the LoL lore (mind you this is pre-season 2) and I became even more invested. The idea of a person wanting to do better for his community, to help his community, but in the process, his good intention become corrupted as more and more time passes, is as tragic as it can be realistic.

Now LoL Viktor is a fucking bat shit eugenics crazed man which is not take seriously in the slightest (it is league) and can't be decided to where they want to redeem him or not. But I still see at least what they were trying to do with his character BEFORE he became the machine herald (i.e his slow corruption of self).
