Rock The Boat - Complete Chart Run (Hot 100, Hot 100 Airplay, R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, & R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay)
So I haven't been active in months, but I figure I do something useful today for the 12th anniversary of the stunning album "Aaliyah". The Best R&B Album Ever (in my opinion), and the facts on her chart statistics seem to be really empty/messy so I found the complete chart run of "Rock The Boat" in U.S. on Billboard's Main/Airplay Chart, and Main R&B/Hip-Hop and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Charts.
Rock the Boat - Chart Run:
Hot 100: 57 - 45 - 28 - 25 - 23 - 23 - 23 - 22 - 21 - 18 - 15 - 14 - 14 - 21 - 19 - 17 - 16 - 14 - 18 - 18 - 19 - 20 - 31 - 28 - 49 (25 Weeks)
Hot 100 Airplay: 51 - 39 - 24 - 25 - 19 - 19 - 20 - 20 - 17 - 14 - 13 - 14 - 14 - 14 - 14 - 14 - 16 - 13 - 15 - 18 - 19 - 18 - 24 - 27 - 45 (25 Weeks)

Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay: 72 - 56 - 41 - 27 - 14 - 10 - 10 - 7 - 4 - 4 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 6 - 5 - 10 - 9 - 20 - 24 - 23 - 25 - 29 - 33 - 30 - 37 - 41 - 41 - 48 - 46 - 45 (41 Weeks)
It had a very impressive chart run, spanning 25 weeks on the main chart and main airplay chart in U.S. peaking at 14/13. It also went an amazing 41 weeks (around 10 months, which is close to a year) on R&B/Hip-Hop and it's Airplay chart.
"Rock the Boat" peaked at #14, but had the potential to peak MUCH higher. As you can see it charted, not even one week in Sales on any charts. This tells me it wasn't Physically Released to very, very late after it's chart run or it wasn't available. Which is quite sad, because like "Try Again" it ran only off of Airplay basically - and had the sales given it extra points it would've definitely went Top 10. It could also have had a chance at Top 5 if the sales were good enough.
