her sister, CANDICE ( 4 years younger ) was the center of attention in her household. her mother did everything for her, cuddled her more than her or her brother which often led aaliyah to be jealous of her sister. despite her envious feelings, she is very protective of her sister, specially ever since she got into hogwarts. they grew closer as years passed and consider themselves as thick as blood can get.
she was the first of the 3 jordan kids to show signs of magic. she was merely 3 years old when she burnt their living room’s curtains and she holds on to that memory with pride. how she could do it no one knows but from that day on, aaliyah knew she was SPECIAL and meant for greatness.
before going to hogwarts in her first year, her mother told her the truth about her father. it was a shock, she had believed for 11 years he had died on the job when in fact, he had left his family behind. from that day on, she promised herself to never let herself be fooled by a man, or trust any with her heart. it was a promise that she would tell herself everyday before falling asleep, and she still does.
from that day on, her relationship with her mother changed. aaliyah started making her own way at hogwarts, making a name and reputation for herself and in the process, she stopped listening to her mother or following her advices and rules. they would often clash and it was always her brother who made sure they didn’t stayed without talking for a long time.
at twenty years old, she met stefano zabini in her family house in italy. he was a charismatic and intelligent man, the first one that aaliyah fancied. they married shortly after meeting and the marriage ended four years later with stefano’s death, leaving his entire fortune and properties in aaliyah’s name.
at twenty-five, she remarried into one of the sacred twenty-eight, to thomas flint who was already an old man and it was no surprise when he died of an heart attack one year later. however, the flint family was suspicious of his death and aaliyah was no longer welcome into the family. they were the ones who started the rumours within the pureblood society, that any man that would marry aaliyah wouldn’t last long. perhaps even due her own hand.
at twenty-seven, she married once again. people kept talking, not when she was around tough. her now husband is rarely present, always travelling and there are some who say he stays away in purpose, afraid for his life. the fact is that now at twenty-nine, they have a baby boy named blaise. aaliyah fought him over the name, not wanting to give her child his simple name.
zabini means the life she has created for herself, detaching herself from the jordan name which still reminds her of her father. he has tried to reach out to her in two different occasions: first, after stefano’s death and she discovered he had kept tabs on them which only made her hate him more. second, after her marriage with thomas flint. that one time aaliyah threatened to curse him and everyone he cared about in his new life. it was the last time she heard of him again.
When she laughs, it is a rich sound that curls from her mouth like cigarette smoke. They whisper about her with voices of awe; the Zabini heiress. A spider weaving its web, she plucks at gossamer-thin threads and watches reality shiver into motion. She is the centre of her own universe. Her own religion. Her own deity.Â

after hogwarts, it was certain to aaliyah that her destiny was to be part of the elite and marry a powerful wealthy pureblood wizard, just like her mother did. she was twentyyears old when she met stefano zabini, in a summer spent in her family house in italy. he was blown away by her beauty and it wasn’t even a couple of months until they got married. during their four years of marriage, they went back and forward between england and italy and it was in his hometown that stefano died of mysterious ways.

now at twenty-nine, still in her third marriage even though her husband is rarely present, aaliyah has a baby to take care of and whom she will do anything for. she stopped changing her name after her first marriage and doesn’t plan to add her husband’s name anytime soon. zabini suits her well and to her husband’s disbelief, she gave her son her very same surname - blaise zabini it is.
