First Home Games of the Season
This Sunday, Ã rhus Baseball Softball Klub opened the field for the first Baseball Games of the season. The weather was warm and sunny and the spectators enjoyed a lovely day at the ballpark with great Baseball, Beers and Burgers.
Herning Trolls visited the home of the à rhus Baseball Team and Aarhus Athletics on Sunday May 13. The two Aarhus teams were too great a match for Herning and Herning had to return home with 0-2.
The local rivalry between the two à rhus Baseball Softball Klub teams, âà rhusâ and âAarhus Athleticsâ was not as exciting as the fans could have hoped. à rhus never really got traction; meanwhile Aarhus Athletics hit homeruns after homeruns. The game ended after only 5 innings with a massive win to the Latino team Aarhus Athletics.
The results of the games strengthened Aarhus Athletics spot at the top of the standings and puts à rhus on a shared 2nd position. Herning joins the Urbarn Achievers at the bottom of the standings.
