Here’s a scene I did for “Tough Love”. It was originally boarded by the exceptionally talented Jushtin Lee. I think a few of his drawings are still in here. Enjoy!

Here’s my small contribution to this crazy episode. “Skooled” was originally boarded by Jushtin Lee and Kristen Gish, then additional boarding was done by Kenny Pittenger, Dominic Bisignano and me. Enjoy.
I'm assuming that since you, Dominic, Kenny, and Brett were all credited as boarders, that Deep Dive was an ep that was heavily revised during boarding (like Nayasaya)?
Yeah, some stories are harder to figure out than others. This was a tough one.
is the season 4 of Star vs the forces of evil the last one?
That is quite possible, but I can't really confirm anything because Disney only greenlights their shows 1 season at a time.
Hi Aaron, So should we the fans just assume that Stars confession to Marco won’t be brought up again? Or did Star and Marco discuss it “offscreen?”
I think Star is the type of show where it isn't safe to assume anything. Ever.
Hi there! It’s been a while, I know, but with all these new episodes I thought I should post SOMETHING. Here’s a couple of scenes that I did for “Deep Dive”. This was a fun one to figure out. Enjoy!
Here are some panels from Deep Dive.
Here’s another scene from “Mewnipendence Day”.
Here’s the first scene I’ll post from “Mewnipendence Day”. This was a pivotal episode for the show because it implied so much about the history of Mewni and their relationship with the monsters.
Got any scenes to share from Mewnipendece Day?
Yes I do! Actually that was an episode that was extensively reworked, so I can show you large swaths of that one.
Hey, three quick questions for you: One: how many comments do you usually send in along with those rough sketches you put on here? Two: how did you guys decide that mewni's main food should be corn Three: I wonder who restocks the vending machine in queen moon's secret hideout?
1: I’m not sure I understand your question.
2: It all started when Josh and Justin Parpan put a “corn” sign in the establishing shot of the Mewni Kingdom, so I incorporated that into the Mewnipendence Day story.
3: Maybe Rhombulus has a side business or something.
About the sneak peek shown in SDCC, where Tom and Star are dancing. Is it a flash back or nah? I'm just curious, I'll tottaly understand if you can't answer.
Sorry, I can’t answer that one.
keys and bgs from Battle for Mewni! :) Hope everyone liked it! + end credit works!
Created by Daron Nefcy, Art direction by Israel Sanchez, Paint supervised by me (yay!), and special thanks to paint team Drake Brodahl, Kari Casady, Alexander Duckworth. Also the amazing layout team, Maryam Sefati, Sun Jae Lee,Alex Chechik, and Kayla Jones!
Beautiful
Here’s a scene storyboarded on the “Toffee” episode. We went full on “horror” for Toffee’s rebirth (or whatever you want to call it). Then we transition to total devastation. I decided to add the scars on moon’s arms just as she attacked toffee to amplify the depths of moons despair as well as her growing rage. It also made sense to me to have moon try to cast her darkest spell on Toffee, aiming the wand directly at his heart this time. I’m sure at this point she regretted not killing him when she first had the chance.
As far as Marco goes, who wouldn’t want to punch a hole through Toffee’s chest? He’s a best friend killer! Screw that Toffee guy.
I should mention that there are a couple of Sabrina Cotugno’s original panels in this scene as well. http://arythusa.tumblr.com/ She is quite a talent.
Here’s the section I did for the main title of season 3. I should mention, the first pass of the storyboard was done by Gina Gress and Jushtin Lee.
Is the new intro gonna be played for the movie?
Yes!
I'm considering that Angie Diaz is a Caucasian, right??
Corrrrrrrrect.
