Reflection: What Are We Really Measuring?
For most of human history, measuring time meant watching the sky.
Shadows moved across sundials. Water flowed through carefully shaped vessels. Pendulums swung back and forth.
Each generation created more precise clocks, but the basic assumption remained the same: clocks measure time.
Modern physics has complicated that idea.
Atomic clocks don’t measure something flowing past us. They measure extremely stable repeating patterns inside matter itself. Optical lattice clocks push that idea even further, counting oscillations of light and atoms with astonishing precision.
In other words, every clock is really measuring change.
A pendulum changes position. A crystal vibrates. An atom shifts between energy states.
If that’s true, then a deeper question emerges:
Is time something that exists independently…
Or is it something that emerges from patterns of change in the universe?
Humanity’s race to build ever more precise clocks may ultimately reveal something unexpected — that time is not simply a backdrop to reality, but a structure that arises from the relationships between events.
So here’s a thought worth sitting with:
If nothing in the universe changed — no motion, no interaction, no transformation — would time still exist?
Or does time only appear when something happens?

It’s been a while since I feel something
I’ve got no girl but I’m not alone
Give me an advice, I’ll be happy to ignore it
Madrid is getting deep inside me, I’m getting deeper
So much to see yet so few to watch
I’ll start from scratch
That’s the catch
I’ll deserve a badge
Writing from zanghjiajie, idek if that’s spelled right, but whatever.
It’s 6:47 am and I’m feeling very sick, damn you A/C.
I was thinking about how drastically a person can change depending on how he/she feels, like I was having dinner yesterday and I was so annoyed by everything it was not even funny, plus my friends are getting sick to so they blow their nose every ten minutes at the table, I fucking hate that, but it’s making me work on my tolerance, so it’s ok.
I may go for a run, or maybe just walk, this city seems to have so much to offer, quite not what I was expecting, but I’ll see.
It’s been long since I post anything here.
As you can see, I’ve got a girl now, she’s cute. And acts cute, I really like her.
We’ll be spending the weekend together, I’m excited.
I love my mom
This warms me up
Hello, this is my third post in this blog.
Idk if anyone is reading, or if anyone someday will, but it helps me get through.
Today is Super Bowl Sunday, I’m gonna be watching it with my friends, I’m excited.
I had a fun, but complicated weekend. But well, I guess that’s just the way life goes.
Be back soon.
How can someone go through a heartbreak not listening to rap music?
I recently went through one and honestly, if I wouldn’t be listening that much of rap, I would have beeen much more depressed than I was.. that music literally, and I can not express this enough, literally, enters my mind, therefore, my reality. It makes me feel good when nothing else can and mostly when I feel like nothing can cheer me up, it’s just the sound of a black male getting his vocals ready to drop some rhymes, where my soul feels at ease and ready for whatever comes.
(Obviously I can not let my family and my dogs out of that equation, of course they are my two most important foundations, it’s just that rap music has never hurt me or betrayed me, and that, in my opinion, feels good)
Hello, this will be my blog.
Lately I’ve been tripping on the idea that dreams are not real, theyre just an idealista c construct our mind make up to resignify and aport meaning to what we feel on our sleep. So we’re not dreaming, we’re just feeling, and when we wake up our mind instantly creates a scenario where it would be coherent to have felt that way.
This would be all for my first post, I’ll try to come back often. But rn I got work to do, my favorite type, just click on my computer and sketch in a paper while I design something. Maybe I’ll start posting my renders here, who knows, maybe I end up being famous one day.
Happy birthday King
