been thinking about, and inspired by, Sophie Yanow’s Gentle Comics Habits. although i didn’t really follow the steps…and had a little too much fun coloring the rooster…it was super fun to spit out thoughts and moments in a way that felt fast and loose to me

(and currently reading Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Dispossessed, which has been also been saturating my thoughts and which I’d very much recommend)

it’s been such an honor and a joy to have worked on this show! i’m incredibly grateful to Julia for giving me a chance to board and for all the creative freedom—it feels like i got to hold, for a little while, a rare and precious stone. i’m also incredibly grateful to have met and been a part of such an amazing crew. i hold this all dearly to my heart.
