So, guys, I need some help here.

My car is in the shop and it’s gonna cost upwards of $900 to fix (I have to get the clutch completely replaced). That’s $900 I don’t have, and I can’t really get a job until I get it fixed. I’ve also got about $10,000 left to pay on my appendectomy bill, and my student loans have gone out of grace period so I’m really strapped for cash, so anything I can get helps at this point. I’m also trying to help my mother support myself, my sister, and my sister’s boyfriend (That’s one person trying to support four people here until I can get an actual job…) We could really use the support.

I don’t really have much to offer in return for your help, but I can crochet hats, I make wire-wrapped jewelry, and I can (sort of) paint, examples of which I’ve given here. I can also make wire-and-stone rings, earrings, and crocheted scarves. I do have an Etsy store, but until I can pay off the fees from the last postings I had I can’t put more stuff on there (I promise I will as soon as I can!). But I can take orders through here if you folks are willing. The prices I ask are as follows:

Simple hats: $15 (This includes the deerstalker. The Konoha symbol above is just an example, I can do zodiac signs, a name, or any other simple design.)

Pikachu or similar: $25

Scarves, single color: $10

Scarves, multicolor: $10+ depending on number of colors and design desired.

All hats and scarves may be customized with a name/symbol/other personalization on request.

Stone pendant with leather/faux-leather thongt: $5, Lapis or Malachite +5 extra

Stone pendant with chain: $10, Lapis or Malachite +5 extra

Stone earrings, $5, +5 per additional stone, Lapis or Malachite +5 extra

Ring: $5, Lapis or Malachite +5 extra

Triforce or similar: $10, +5 per extra stone.

I can also do wire zodiac symbols, though I don’t have photos of them yet. These are $5, +5 per any stone or charm you may wish to add.

Simple painting (Kanji, zodiac, other single symbol): $5.

Simple painting on canvasboard: $8

More abstract designs (like the swirl shown above) $10+ depending on design and difficulty.

On canvasboard $13+

The only solution I’vwe evwer found to problems like that wvas money.  It’s specifically designed to be givwen awvay quickly, in exchange for things they like or need from people they actually trust.  Also puts them in complete control of wvhat they do and don’t get, and from wvhere, and they can minimize risk howvevwer they wvant.  They can evwen trade the cash for other coins of equivwalent vwalue, and end up wvith money you’vwe nevwer touched.

If someone you wvant to help gets wvorried that they’ll be accused of stealing the money or just doesn’t like charity, you can vwastly ovwerpay them for a servwice or item, and make sure they get a receipt to provwe it.  I’vwe bought more than one round of drinks for people I don’t care about, to make sure the bar owvner wvould still be in business next time I stopped by.  Often wvithout mentioning that’s wvhat I wvas doing.

If the wvhole exchange doesn’t bite them in the ass, it can also be a first step towvards trust.  If you givwe a gift and still don’t wvant anything in return a perigee later, that provwes something.
